The weekend has been the best weekend of my life. All the hard work and planning to take Nathan and his family to Paris with my family and of course Jess, it was just perfect. Asking Nathan to marry me on top of the Eiffel Tower had be he most perfect moment of my life and I was sure Nathan’s too. Even now thinking about that night made y heart jumped with joy and having Nathan ask me to marry him. I wasn’t sure if having the other ring was a good idea, thinking that maybe Nathan had wanted to buy his own for me, but it had worked out perfectly.

A small amount of regret crept into my thoughts as I remember the times I bullied him in high school. I never meant for it to get like that but the peer pressure I had felt knowing that I loved him had led me to do and say some terrible things. I knew I could never make for those things but I was sure trying. That day I found Nathan sends waves of terror down my body every time I close my eyes and at night all I can do is hold Nathan close afraid I might lose him. I was a fool to let him go the first time, I would never do that again. I loved him so much and now we were going to be married. It made me feel like I was being forgiven for my sins.

We were now heading home, Jess was driving us this time as Nathan and I sat in the back seat enjoying each other’s company and the sites. We laughed and talked along the way until Nathan fell asleep against my shoulder. I lifted my arm and pulled him closer to me and resting my head onto of his I rubbed my cheek against his soft curly hair. I loved the way his hair was now and closing my eyes I let the drone of the car and the smell of Nathan’s shampoo lull me to sleep.

The gentle stroking of a hand through my hair pulled my from my sleep and open my eyes I saw Nathan sitting in front of me with a beautiful smile on his face.

“Wake up baby we’re home.” He said to me and I felt like I was falling in love with him all over again. He was so beautiful.

I leaned forward and kissed him and Nathan wrapped the hand he had in my hair around the back of my head holding me to him as he kissed me back with more passion. I felt my body burning up as our kiss became deeper and I was tempted to take him there.

“Come on you two I haven’t got all day.” Jess called out from beyond the car and Nathan pulled back and gave me the biggest grin and I couldn’t help but grinning back. I removed my seat belt and let Nathan pull me out of the car.

We were back at Nathan’s house and heading up to the bedroom to dump our bags, Jess pulled out the spare bed under Nathan’s and collapsed on it.

“Aren’t you going home tonight.” I asked Jess.

“None, Nathan invited me to stay over for the night.”

“He did, did he.” I gave Nathan a ‘What’s this I hear’ look and he just smiled and shrugged at me.

Well there went my plans for welcome home sex but whatever; it would still be a fun night with Jess around. We went down stairs and got ourself something to eat, Nathan’s parents were not back yet as they were staying in Paris a little longer. When we were done we got ready for bed and Jess climbed into her bed and Nathan and I climbed into his bad cuddling one another as we watched a movie on the television in Nathan’s room.

We the movie was finished we lay in the darkness talking about the weekend with each other when Jess asked, “So have you two get a wedding date yet and who’s planning it.”

Nathan and I both looked at each other in the dark room, the light through the window showing the surprise on both our faces. We hadn’t really had time to talk about dates or anything yet, we had only just gotten engaged. Nathan indicated his head towards Jess and I frowns and as Nathan raised his eye brows I realised what he was getting at and I nodded.
