When I Wake

THE MEET-UP

Today was the day the day I have been looking forward to for the last two weeks today was the 7th May I got up brushed my teeth and my hair and went clothes shopping with Mum. I picked out some light blue skinny jeans, a white tank top, a light brown leather jacket and some dark brown boots. After we paid for the clothes we went home to get dressed.
I quickly brushed through my hair one more time before I had to go. A mixture of nerves and excitement were floating around inside of me like a boat on water and much like the passengers I started to feel sick. I reached the cafe and 11:30 just like I was told and my mother waited with me until the other person showed up my mum must of seen them before I did because she got up and left just as I noticed them walking towards me. Two people a boy about my age and an older women probable his mother which one am I supposed to be meeting with the boy or the women?
Almost as soon as the question was asked it was answered by the women turning around and walking back to her car. The boy came over and sat down in front of me "Hi I'm Clarissa but you can call me Clary you must be the famous Aris,"
"Hi Clary and yes I am this Aris you speak of ," we sat their for a moment all of the questions started flying away like bird I grasped hold of one question and asked it.
"How long have you been diagnosed with this... Whatever this is?"
"Four months, three weeks, twenty-one days, fourteen hours thrity-three minutes and... Forty-six seconds. You?"
"Three months, three weeks, twenty-seven days fifteen hours thirty-one minutes and..."
I looked down at my watch "thirty-two seconds."
We ordered our food and drinks I had a Vanilla Chai and triple choc fudge cookie Aris had a Flat white and a chocolate brownie. Before I knew it I saw my mums car.
"This was fun but I have to go my mums here bye"
"Bye but before you go same time next week? I want to see how much you know about the illness we have." I could tell that last part was a lie. But I couldn't turn down the opportunity so I answered "Sure, see you then."
