THE MESS
The doctors and my parents thought I was stabilised enough to tell me what happened and they sure took their time a few months even. It turns out the dreams I have been having were glimpses of my past and the accident. "Clary I am so, so sorry it took so long but we think it's time to tell you how you were put in this mess." At first I didn't realise what they were talking about, then it clicked. "It's a long story but their is one thing we would like you to know the people who did this to you will not get away." At that point I don't know what to think I am curious to know yet I don't want to know how someone could do such a thing to a human being. "You were walking home one night from your friends house. When you reached our house you realised a car was following you. We heard you outside so we opened the door just in time to see someone hit you across the head with a metal poll buzzing with electricity." Why would someone do such a thing to an innocent human being. My mother continued. "You were rushed to the hospital immediately. The next day we were told you were in a coma and might not wake up. Sure enough three weeks later you woke up with a blank expression and no memory what so ever." A single tear rolled down her cheek. I wonder how this would feel for her, nearly losing her child and watching her lose all she knew overnight. "The people who did this to you wont get away we promise." I had so many questions I wanted to ask but none came to mind so all I could manage to spit out was, "Oh." The doctors explained to me all the test they had to do while I was in a coma but it wasn't long before I gave in to unconsciousness, my mind spinning with new information.
