THE INCIDENT

Flashing lights, sirens blurring, my vision slowing fading black spots dotting my view.
People are standing around me all wearing one of three different types of uniforms. I see my mum in tears staring down at me my dad holding her tight calling out to my brother and sister, telling them to stay inside. I then realise my hands aren't empty in one hand is a bag in the other Is a smaller hand a much smaller hand. Before the dots completely blind me I look over to see a little boy about four or five years old. Who is he? I wake up gasping for air trying to hold on to the memory before it disappears but it's too late it was already fading.
A doctor was already by my side asking me if everything was okay," yes, I am fine it was just a nightmare... Or a memory. Maybe both." I replied. She looked at me with a sigh of relief and said "Don't scare me like that okay"
"I will try not to goodnight."
The next time I woke up it was morning and my parents were there so I knew there was something different about today. Do I get to go home? Did the doctors and scientist make progress? Am I going to get told the incident? Is there a cure?  "Some of your questions will be answered very soon Clary just wait. The doctor must have seen the look of hope and confusion on my face. The doctors all looked at me and laughed so did my parents. All of a sudden my face felt hot and I knew it was glowing red partly from embarrassment partly frustration either way she wanted it all to stop.
