The new information swimming inside my head as I sleep still thinking about how someone could do something so inhumane to an innocent human being, a teenager no le... Where am I? My eyes snap open and I am in a boring grey room. The people around me are all in the same dull colourless outfit a white coat and weird goggles over their eyes. They are also wearing a strange mask that colours their mouth and nose. My heart beating as fast as a race car I sit up in the uncomfortable bed and looking around panicked. There are people standing around my bed eyes wide like they have just seen a ghost, their eyes boring into my body as I sit helplessly and confused. "Wh, wh where a, am I?" I stuttered scared yet curious to know what's going on. Two tired looking people in pyjamas appear beside my bed then. That's when I realise I am surrounded by beds filled with people sleeping. A mumbling sound like a voice talking to me snaps my out of my daze. "Pardon," I see one of the two tired people in tears the other one holding her tight. "I said, are you alright Clarissa?" "Who are you people? How do you know my name? A wail come from the person crying. I wonder why she is so upset? I would be sorry for her if I knew what was going on myself. I see one of the funny dressed people talking to the person crying and the one holding her. It comes to my attention that I am in the same scratchy gown as the other people lying in beds like mine. What happened to all of them? What happened to me? I have so many questions they would probably all be answered if I was told what was going on. Two others in pyjamas younger than the first crying as they head over to me one of them slowly walks to my bed as if I might attack at any second, the other sprints over. One of the people in the coats, doctors I think they called them. Sat down next to me and started asking me questions which only confused me more. "What do you remember, Clary?"
"Remember what?"
"Anything at all," I thought for a couple of minutes before I answered.
"Bearly anything I remember my name, age, how to breath, eat and drink but not much more." The doctor turns to the people crying and half whispers to them "I thought it was just one of her minor drop outs but it seems a lot more serious. Next he turns to his fellow workers and says "We need to find a cure for this as soon as possible we can't even risk letting her go outside without heavy security. We don't want things to get worse than they already are." It was almost like an order his tone sounded so serious it was almost frightening. The doctors all turned to look at me and one of them decided to speak up. I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up all she said was "You should get some rest," and I did just that.
