Chapter 1

you've been crushing on yamato since the sixth grade, but you've always been too nervous to talk to him. you don't exactly have any friends but you manage to make your way through school pretty easily, because you're so smart. you don't try that hard, but somehow you manage to keep your grades to all 100%'s.

YOUR POV

after school, you decide to stay at the library because nobody will be home until later. when you're getting bored of reading books, you head upstairs to get your bag out of the classroom. you notice that the hallways are completely empty, so it's quiet. as you walk up the stairs you hear footsteps, but decide to ignore them. "it's a school, of course people will be in it" you think to yourself. your (hair length) and (hair color) hair moved back and forth while you take steps up the stairs. as you start spacing out, you miss a step. your mind goes blank as you notice that you're falling peacefully down the stairs. your eyes widen as you feel air hitting your hair and gravity slowly pulls you down to where the stairs end. then you realize, there was a person behind you. but you're helpless.

in an instant, you notice that you've stopped falling, and hit the ground. but, why doesn't it hurt? you notice that someone has their body cupped around you, and that they took the whole fall for you. you feel warm inside and out, and wish you could stay like this forever. then the person starts to speak.
"are you okay?" the person says. but you knew that voice.
"y-yama-" you begin to say, but nothing comes out.
you start to move and hear him grunt in pain. "can we stay like this for a while?" he says. but you just lay back onto him as a reply. you feel tears coming on as your eyes start to drip.
"i-i'm so sorry" you tremble.
