Chapter 2

yamato begins to un-wrap his hands from around you. out of nowhere, he starts smiling and speaks.
"sorry about that, I probably made you uncomfortable" he says with a wide grin.
no words come out of your mouth so you just stupidly shake your head and your face turns bright red. you're so embarrassed, you look down at your feet and become very stiff.
"I have some bad bruises, and nobody's home at my house, and we don't have any medical things there, so do you think I could get something at your house?" yamato says casually.
your mind goes completely blank as you begin to think "was that my imagination? did he really just say that?"
"y-y-y-" saying yes didn't work out so you just nodded your head and smiled under your hair.
as you guys begin to walk down your street, you try to sneak a peek of looking at him, but he looks over and smiles. you immediately look away and blush as your face turns hot. "what should I say? does he want to talk to me?" nervous thoughts go through your head when you realize that Yamato was talking to you when you were thinking.
"s-sorry, what did you say?" you try to sound as casual as possible, but it turns out very jittery and high pitched.
"never mind. you sure don't talk much considering you read all of those books"
you blush and look away, trying to cover your face with your hair. as soon as you have most of your face hidden, you notice that yamato has stepped in front of you. you stop and stare at his feet. then, he kneels down to look at your face from where your head was facing. you get so embarrassed and hide with your hair again, but he notices.
"your eyes are really pretty. you should show them off more" he says while softly dragging your hair out of your face.
you stutter to say something, but have no idea what to say so you just stare at him until he starts walking again. you run to catch up.
