-Kyle Ren's POV-
I make my way back to my usual chambers and shut myself in darkness. I plop down onto a leather seat positioned on the far left side of the room. Resting my head in my hands I contemplate how to make the scavenger cooperate with me. Rey.
Such a stubborn girl.
At this point I feel like throwing or slashing something but I maintain my composure. In my recent training with Snoke I've learned it can sometimes be best to harbor that anger so that when the proper time comes you can unleash it all at once.
How come I can't get through to her?
How does she not see the power of the darkness?
If she trained with me she would be unstoppable.
I slam my fist onto the arm of the chair and try to control my breathing as I uncurl my fist. Suddenly I detect a disturbance in the force and immediately know that Rey has escaped her quarters. I stand up and quickly stalk out of my room, alerting near by troopers that she has escaped. The alarm blared through the halls and I stomp to the main control room."I see your security measures have once again failed to contain our prisoners." I say bluntly to General Hux who sneers at my appearance. I am menacingly hovering over him as he faces the bustling control room; waiting for an explanation.
"It seems that the girl was able to open the door from the inside somehow."
My jaw hardens, frustrated for my lack of recalling her strength in the force, "security footage of her last appearance." I state.
A video projects on the large screen at the front of the control room. Sure enough it's Rey exiting her quarters and sneakily making her way to the hangar. Until she slips into a small back hallway which is unmonitored and used mostly by droids. I pivot sharply and make my way to that back hallway.
-Rey's POV-
After Kylo left I managed to calm myself and decided I would try to open the door once more. This time I decided to sit on the bed and meditate only envisioning the door opening. After only a few minutes I heard a click and opened my eyes to an open door. I was shockingly pleased and surprised at my ability to actually open it. But no time to celebrate, I slipped out of the room and made my way down the long hallways until I noticed the cameras and realized I must be being watched so I saw a door labeled "droids only" and decided to slip down there.
The hallway was almost suffocatingly small. Just wide enough for certain droids to use as passage. Finally I emerged into a much larger room, that appeared to be an area for droid maintenance. A bunch of machinery was working on parts running along gurneys. It would be a good place to hide until I came up with a better plan. Or at least travel undetected.
-Kylo Ren's POV-
I struggled to fit through the narrow hallway but in the far distance I could see the girl and wielded my light saber. She turned quickly not sensing my presence until it was too late. I knew engaging her peacefully would not bode well for me so I lit up my saber and we stared at each other for a few moments. She was unarmed. I could see her thoughts processing her various options. Finally she took a step back and dropped down onto a passing gurney. I sheathed my saber and jumped down to chase her.
"There is no where for you to go. Even if you manage to hijack a ship you will not be able to escape." I say matter of fact.
She stands in front of me wide eyed, still trying to process the situation she's in, "my friends will come for me."
"They will die trying." My voice cuts her hope like a knife. I see her body clench and she grabs a nearby metal pole swinging it at me, but I react to fast with my saber and cut it in two.
She holds the two pieces unsure of what to do and then begins sprinting. I use the force to stop all of the machinery and begin stalking after her.
