Diego and Shira: a new life

When we first met part 1

Shira's POV

It was a normal day on Captain Gutt's ship, until we saw a floating piece of ice with 2 sloths a mammoth and a kinda cute saber. I saw him looking at me with a shocked look on his face. Then I realized that we were going to steal their ship. We threw hooks onto their 'ship', if I can even call it that, and bring then aboard. When I saw the saber trying to cut the vines I stood on the last one and yelled

"Aww you almost made it" I said with a smirk I still thought he was cute until he said

"I don't fight girls" so I tackled him so he couldn't get up and I said

"I can see why"

Diego's POV

Wow I thought to myself I did think she was pretty until she tackled me she seems so cocky but her beauty makes up for it. After a long time at sea the last thing we need are pirates. When we got to the ship of course we found a way to escape but the plan was a bit flawed I wound up on a different mass of ice from Sid, Manny, and granny. While we were floating away from each other and I see one of the pirates, it's the saber, so being the gentleman that I am I help her up. She for some reason was mad at me saying

"I didn't need your help I was fine on my own"so I said back to her

"I didn't need to help you, I could have let you drown, but I didn't"

Shira's POV

I realized that he really didn't have to save me so I thanked him and he said

"You're really bad at thanking someone"

"How" I asked

He said "you have to sound sincere"

"I was" I argued

"Well it didn't sound like that" he replied

"Well you don't get much practice for thanking people when you're a pirate" I said.

"How did you become a pirate anyway" He asked

"Why do you want to know" I asked

"Well you don't seem like the pirate type" he said

"What does the 'pirate type' look like" I said in an angry tone

"Well they don't look as pretty as you" as he said that I blushed and looked away so he couldn't see me smile. I started to tell him what happened.

"It all started when I left my pack"

"Why did you leave your pack" he asked

"I had to..."

"You had to what" he asked
