There was promptly a scuffle of feet and a closing of a door. Amber's bedroom door. Somebody had been listening in on her conversation, and by somebody, Amber meant Frankie, the boy that she was currently living with. Amber opened her door, way more quietly than Frankie, she was in the hall and was about to confront Frankie when she heard him say something first. "Mum, I saw it, she has a hologram creator, she was video calling a guy called Luke Grace. He's going to study at our school."
"Well sweetheart, I recommend that you tell Amber that you know, ask her wether she wants other people to know, and do as she tells you, it's her life after all." Thanks Mrs T, you are awesome. Amber was relieved that the conversation had gone this way instead of many other less awesome ways that it could've gone. Does that make sense? Yeah, it probably does. Amber stuck out her hand as Frankie was walking down the hall and to his bedroom, stopping him dead in his tracks. "Please don't tell anyone, I'm not supposed to have it." Amber said clearly, giving poor Frankie a side glare.
"Okay, but can I use it sometime?"
"Yes, no problem, but I have to add you into its system, I'll do it next when we finish school, the process can take a while."

Amber went back to her room, and even though it was still quite early, decided to go to sleep, preparing herself for her presentation alongside Nick about codes. She hadn't yet forgiven their dad for swearing them into secrecy, but Nick was her brother, and nothing was going to stop that. Amber drifted off into blissful sleep, happy.

School was boring, nothing new. Amber's presentation actually went really well, there weren't any mess ups from either child and they both did an equal part in the presentation, even though to most spectators it likely didn't seem like that was true. Amber knew about Hank and Nick's long living rivalry, but didn't let it get to her, Nick stopped being so rude to Hank but the same couldn't be said the other way round. Hank was annoyed that Amber was spending more time with Nick than with him, but he didn't let it trouble him, he kept on going with life, making it seem as if he couldn't care less. The day continued like this, everybody constantly bored, Ms Adolf giving everyone double homework and a detention if you breathed in class, and Amber glaring daggers at Elizabetta 'none of your clothes are real' Virtualei. Hank's cut had healed surprisingly well and Rosa didn't ask too many questions (which was good.) The day wasn't interesting and it was settled that Amber would start teaching Hank when his scab fell off.

The last day of school wasn't interesting at all, Nick got an English award and Amber didn't get any (no surprise, she had been at school a total of two weeks.) Nick won his award and at the end of the ceremony went to hug his little sister, "Amber! I got an English award!"
"Really? Never would've known, seeing as I was in the front row." Amber retorted sarcastically, yet not letting it show through her words. Amber hugged Nick, and he hugged her back.
"Hey, Amber, me and my family see going on a cruise, wanna come?" Nick asked Amber, looking into her orangey-brown eyes.
"I'd love to, but what do you plan on telling Hank, Ash and Frankie?" The conversation continued like this, and they finally settled on Amber asking for permission, and if it was granted, saying that Hank could come with her (not actually a lie) and then all three of them have the best summer holidays of their lives. There wasn't much planning to do, and the second that Amber got home she asked permission, this was gladly granted, just as long as Hank could go and there wouldn't be any rows on board the boat. Amber went and told Hank that he could come, and he was happy to come along. Amber called Nick and said that operation-get-Amber-and-Hank-together-(kinda) was go. This continued like this, Amber and Ashley went shopping, making sure that Amber had the very best of everything. It was all planned out, now they just had to play the waiting game, they weren't leaving for a few days.
