I Saw Him On The Street

chapter 41

Roshni POV :

we were actually doing the staring contest . Even our daughter's joined us . " stop it drew" I said looking away because my eyes were paining now. " so this means I win " he asked me . " yes you win" I said in defeat . After a hour we were on the road . Both girls were so tired so they were sleeping. Drew was driving so focused on the road now I was staring at him . " are we doing the staring content again ?" he says giving me a look . " no , I was just looking angrily " I said . " fine but why are you angry ?" He asked .

" the contest you did back in the pool " I said . " it was just a contest for fun " he says . After that didn't say anything. We were back to apartment putting our children on bed . Drew went to his room and I went into mine . I was trying to sleep but couldn't. So I decided to watch  TV. When I pass by Drew's room . I hear him talking on his phone. He was talking to Valerie just the way we use to be two years ago . I stay their to hear him but then I go back to my room . I finally sleep and next morning I woke up . I brush my teeth and get ready to go for jogging. Before going I check on the boys both were sleeping. I knew girls wouldn't wake up so early. I was now on the road running and thinking about drew . He is always on my mind but I should not think about him . I keep running putting my headphones on . I didn't know when I came so far from home . I run back to home as fast as I can . When I open the door with my keys and I hear some one laughing. The sound was coming from the kitchen . When I go and see who is it ? . Only to find standing in the kitchen only in his Calvin Klein boxers . Valerie was holding her from behind wearing his shirt. I just stand their watching them . My anger was just going to come out and I want to hit her . " Hey Good morning" I said walking into the kitchen . then Valerie and drew turn around to look at me . " Are you making breakfast?" I asked them . " Yeah I'm making some eggs and bacon" he says . "Good morning, Roshni" said Valerie. They way she said it her tone was a little harsh. I knew she didn't like my interference between their romantic moment. " When did you came ?" I asked her . " Last night" she said . " Yeah I could see that with what your wearing?" I said. " he is really good when it comes down to making love " she said . " Yeah but we have kids in this apartment so better put on your clothes" I said to both of them. Valerie leaves the kitchen and goes to Drew's room . Drew follows her inside. At least they went inside to put their clothes on .
Drew POV:
Valerie went into my room and I go after her . She goes into the shower. I put on my t shirt and shorts. I go back to kitchen and cook breakfast. Girls were awake and roshni was with boys in their room . Valerie joins us for breakfast. " Dad who is she ?" Asked Sarah . Theeya and Sarah were eyeing Valerie from up and down . " this is Valerie my girlfriend" I said introducing her to the girls . Valerie and girls were talking to each other . They enjoy the breakfast and then Roshni joined us . She was holding both the boys and I reached her to help put the boys on their baby seat. " will you feed the boys ?" She asked me . " don't worry I'll feed them " I said . She took her car keys and left without even doing her breakfast.

" good morning everyone" said nick entering the room . " hello nick" said both girls . " whose this beautiful lady ?" Says nick looking at Valerie. " this is Valerie my girlfriend" I said . " are you going to feed the boys or shall I ?" He asked. " yeah , I'm going to drop Valerie and you take care of the kids " I said . " are you alright?" Asked Valerie . " yes I am good" I said smiling at her. " but you don't look happy at all to me " she says . Then I drove in silence to her hotel . " tonight I'm leaving for California" she says . " I'll take you to the airport" I said .

only three weeks are left to Roshni's birthday and my album launch. I still have to convince her to move to California. Past two months passed in a blur and I still couldn't convince her . I have to talk to her about this right now . Then I drive to the book store . Roshni and Ariel were handling some customers so I wait around the corner . After ten minutes, Roshni comes to me . " did you feed the boys ?" She asked me . " yes nick took care of it and I'm here to take you out for lunch " I said . She tells Ariel to look after the shop.

then we drive to the nearby restaurant. I hide my face with a hat . " whatever you do they will always find you ?" She says pointing out at the photographer who was on the other side of the shop . They always follow me around .
