I Saw Him On The Street

Chapter 52

 

Roshni Pov :

I just came in between he was going to kill drew . So I had to do something.

sixteen years ago

I was playing with my friend James with his brother and two friends  . " Roshni pass me the ball " he says .
" take it and make a goal James " I said . Jared was the goalkeeper. It was the game of two versus three players. I move forward with James as we pass the ball to each other . Jared is really weird and he likes to beat people up . James and I we always try to remain away from him . " Roshni take the goal " he says louder . Then I make a score and both of us win . Jared lost from us with three points.
We go back to the  James and I go back to the camp . Jared followed us with his friends. " both of you always cheat " he says . Jared holds me up by my shirt and throws me on the ground. Both carl and Fred hold on to James . Then jared starts kicking me in anger . " brother please don't neat her " said James . Then he comes in between us . But jared wouldn't stop I could feel his each kick. After few minutes it stopped. Only I saw James lying on the ground and his brother beats him . Jared stops after five minutes but it was to late James died right their as he couldn't breath .
I took a small sharp rock from the garden and threw it on Jared's head . I run towards James and try to wake him up . Jared holds me from my hair and picked me up " you are the reason he died " said Jared  . He was again kicking me with his feet . Then the nun's from the orphanage came and stopped him . " she killed my brother . I will kill her "he says . He was taken away by the nuns and after that day I never saw him . He was sent to some juvenile.

 present time

I open my eyes and then I see that I was on hospital bed . I was alive and fine . I see a nurse and she was calling the doctor . I had a oxygen mask so I couldn't speak but then i see drew coming in with the doctor but they push him out of room . Then I go back to sleep.

Drew Pov  :

I was waiting then I heard the nurse calling doctor inside. Roshni had opened her eyes she was alive . I try to go and look at her but they didn't let me near her . I call jack and tell him about Roshni. "she opened her eyes finally after twelve hours " I said to him . " its good and don't worry nick is coming to look after the kids . Your mother called and she is coming to new York " he says. " okay fine " I said cutting the phone . I wait for another four hours. " Mr drew Mathis you can see her now but don't stress her okay " says the doctor . I go into the room they shifted her . She was laying down in the bed and sleeping. I sit on her left side and take her hand . I can't believe she was alright. I had so many thoughts running in my mind for last sixteen hours. But my Roshni was alive . She was fine and alright . I was waiting then I slept right there on the chair . Then a nurse wakes me up and asks me to leave as its too late . I go to the waiting area and sit down .

This is how next morning I was sleeping in the waiting room and then I wake up to see Sasha with Nathan. Both of them where talking to the receptionist. I walked to them. " drew how is she ?" Asked Sasha . " she is sleeping still but she is out of danger " I said . " oh that's good" says Nathan. Then we go and see her . She was awake and talking to the nurse . " Roshni how are you?" Said Sasha running towards her . She hugs her than Roshni flinches in pain . " please maintain a distance from her and just talk" I said to Sasha . My possessive side for her care has taken over me . I softly hold her and she looks up at me . " I am sorry, I would just sit here and talk to her " Sasha . " drew you look so tired go home take a shower and go to sleep . Then come back after some rest " she says . " I'm not going anywhere" I said to her .

Nathan and Sasha watch us but then she asks me to leave. " go take  shower and come back until then I'm here with them . You left the kids alone and you should go both girls would make nick go crazy" she says . " fine but keep distance from everyone and don't move on much . I will be back in an hour " I said leaving her . I am so happy and I go back home in a cab . My apartment building's front gate was full of media and photographers . I go inside quickly dodging their questions. I opened the door and my mom comes running hugging me . " are you alright ?" She asked me . " yes , mom im good but I need to shower and go back quickly " I said running to my room. I showered and checked up on the children. Both girls asked me where mom is but I couldn't tell them. So I came up with an idea .
