I Saw Him On The Street

Chapter 44

Roshni pov :
When I said George is coming drew wasn't happy about it . But he didn't argued with me. He takes me to the hotel were the album party would be held . We take the lift and he was holding the boys . " mom why are we not going to dad's place?" Asked theeya . Sometimes my own kids become my enemy. Then I look up drew he had a big smirk on his face . " answer her Roshni " says drew . This man is taking advantage of this situation to annoy me . " baby we will go home after two days " I said to her . " why not now ?" Says drew . " you know why ?" I said .  Before he could say anything opened . Girls step out in floor 60 . I followed them and drew was bringing the boy . There was a hotel staff waiting for outside the grand suite . " good morning mam , as requested the grand suite is ready " he says to me . " thank you , can I have the card key " I said . " please bring our luggage inside" says drew . Drew hands Dylan to me and takes the key from the hotel staff . He uses the card key and opens the door . Girls go running inside and I follow him . Then the boy puts  our luggage in room . " mam I have put the luggage in the room" he says to me. " thank you now you can go " said drew handing him some money . " why were you being so rude to him ?  " I asked him . " can't you see he was checking you out from up and down ?" He says . " so let him" I said . The word was already out of my mouth . " fine , I won't say anything" he says . He was actually not yelling at me . Then he was playing with the boys . I go around and check out the suite . I don't want to be around drew . There has been something unusual going on since the day drew left. I feel like i have been followed.
Two weeks ago ,
There was one black Honda city car has been following me around. I found out about it only when I went to mall to buy some furniture for the shop . That day the car was parked near my car . Few days later it was parked in front of the shop . One day nick had taken the children for a movie over the weekend. I was at the shop and when I came back home in the evening. I was showering and I had the feeling that someone was in the apartment. I remember keeping Drew's set keys in my drawer at the store . One set was with nick and last one was with me . I called the security to check the apartment and I was waiting outside for the guard to tell if he found something. " mam you can come inside its all clear " he says . I went inside and I looked at the security guards face . " did you find something ?" I ask him . " yes your emergency exit door was open " he says . " so who ever came used the stairs ?" I ask him . " yes , mam " he says . " can you find in your security footage if we could see was who could have it been barging in to my home like that " I said . But it was of no use the person who entered my house knew that there was no camera in the stairs. But we got the parking and one corridor footage of him . The person who is following me knows my each and every move . I decided to keep this information with myself. I have to ensure first my children safety then I will find this person who is stalking me or whatever they are up to. Involving drew making it impossible to catch that person at all .
drew pov :

I was looking at Roshni. She was so lost in her thoughts . I could see something was worrying her . There are times when she is worried and forgets about the world around her . " what are you so lost Rosh ?" I ask her waving my hands in front and her . " what ?" She said . Right now we were having dinner in our suite . " did you call me red Rosh ?" She asked me. " no , I didn't" I said . " are you hiding something from me ?" I asked her . " no , why do you think so ?" She says . " fine, I was just asking " I said. Then the door bell rungs. I knew who it was so I got up and opened the door . It was jack at door he has brought my clothes. " jack I want you to find from the apartment building security if anything suspicious happened in last two weeks " I said to him ." Yes don't worry , I will get whatever information is needed" he says leaving. When I go back inside Roshni was already in the room adjacent to mine . Just one door was separating us .
I wish I could read her mind . What she was thinking ? . What was worrying her so much ? . But I know she wouldn't tell me anything so easily . I have to find out somehow . I open the door and find Roshni was sleeping. I look at her phone and try to open it with password but she has changed it again . When I look at her. I go closer to her face and she looks so peaceful in her sleep . I go back to my room and then I get a call from jack . " hey yes I found something" he says . " what is it ?" I asked him . " few days ago someone broke into apartment from the emergency exit " he says . I could feel anger rising up in me . " did security found something?" I asked him . " not even the police was involved" he says . I can't control myself anymore. I go back to her room . I wake her up . " Roshni we need to talk right now" I said to her . " drew it's middle of the night and keep your voice down " she says . " why didn't you tell me about the apartment break in " I said . " nothing was stolen and kids were not at home  " she says . " what if something would have happened to you ?" I said to her .
