Jace's p.o.v (New point of view)
I went into room 306 for detention. I dragged myself into the room slouching. June was already in the room sitting at a desk with her hands folded neatly. Her eye's were on the board starring at what was written on it. This is detention. Sit down and no talking or socializing for the next hour. The letter's were in neat cursive."Hey babe. Sorry I got us into detention on the first day." I apologized. She looked at me and then back at the board. She sat still, with perfect posture.
"I accept your forgiveness." She said.
"Soo, how have you been." I said taking a seat.
"Fine."
"That's it?"
"Yup."
"Okay then." I say suspicious. Then I hear a different voice coming from behind me. It was a girl. The one I was dating and took to the roof top. "June?"
"Hey. Who is this?" She asked. It was the real June that just came in. She gave me a face asking who the heck is this and what did you do with them look.
"Now that you're here, I have no idea." I said. She asked what that was supposed to mean. "I mean I thought that thing was you."
"Surprise!" A real person popped out from behind the fake June. He was an asshole I can tell you that.
"That is gay on so many levels babe." She said to me putting her hand up. I explained to her what happened and all that. I told her I wasn't gay, I didn't know that asshole was behind that thing and you get the point.
"Wow. I'm surprised. Neither of you guy said my actually name or called me a d-bag." The guy said. I didn't know his name, but I knew June hated him. I saw him on the fourth of July.
"I thought d-bag was your name and your nickname was Jake." June said. I laughed. Jake crossed his arms and lowered his eyebrows.
"Really? I thought jackass was his name. I must have misheard." I say bending down and holding my stomach. My mouth was wide open along with June's.
"Hey babe I've been meaning to ask you something." June slowly turned her head towards Jake. "Alone." She looked at him like she was saying Go away I want to be alone.
"Fine." Jackass said. We walked out of the room with my arm around her waist and June's long blonde hair touching my hand. We went to the roof top. Our spot.
