So this is just how June and Lily met. This is important for later in the story so that's why.
June's p.o.v
"Okay class time to partner up." My teacher said. I didn't have that many friends since I just moved here a year and a half ago. I always waited for someone to come to me because everyone I ask, tunes me down. Nobody came to me so I had no choice but to look around. I looked behind me and I saw a girl that wasn't partners with someone else. Time to get turned down.. Again. I thought to myself. "Hi. You wanna be partners?" I asked.Bring the emotional pain
"Sure." She said. "I'm Lily."
"I'm June." I told her. I was quite shocked because nearly 90% of the people choose someone else, or are already taken. Two other girls were next to her.
"Where do you wanna work?" She asked. I didn't think we could work anywhere else because of all the people. Besides, I could just turn my chair around.
"I'll just turn my chair around since your right there." I said to her. The chair let out a loud screeching noise as I turned it. We talked for a while. Mostly about ourselves and what we do and all that. We found out we ride the same bus and live in the same neighborhood. We became very close where it seemed like we weren't only best friends, but sisters. But I didn't tell her about my first year at the school until she asked about it.
"So, what did you do last year?" She asked me. My past year was mostly, happy, dramatic and cool. I had a great time there but someone made me happy there.
"Well, um.. I liked it there." I said shyly. So let me tell you why this is so difficult. So last year a boy, he was really welcoming and friendly and nice. We were friends and people started making rumors about us. That we were dating, but we weren't. I got really defensive and violent when someone would bring it up. We were really good friends and well, yeah. I started to slowly change myself for him. I would wear the same clothes, I would try to make myself pretty for him and it kind of went on for a long time. The next year or third grade, before I met Lily, I would try to make him notice me again. We didn't speak at all that year. Until one day one of his friends told me that he would give me something. At the play ground as he was being chased, he gave me a box. I opened it at home and there was a fake ladybug and on the top it said I love you. I would look at it every day. Then, on valentines day me slide a box of chocolates on my desk. I ate them of course, because let me tell you, I am chocolate crazy. After a while of no speaking, I begin to hate him. Everything her gave me, meant nothing to me. And he means nothing to me.
"Wow. What a story." She said. Did I just say that out loud? Oh man. So me and him, were really close in the second grade and he, held my hand for about five seconds before I pulled it my hand away. I also said that out loud. Thank goodness he wasn't in that class otherwise he would of heard it all.
"Please keep it in your knowledge only, please don't tell anyone." I begged. She nodded.
"Hey, you wanna play with me and my other friends later?" She asked.
"Yup." I replied. I was glade that she was my friend. And Jodie. And that I avoid him because if he doesn't have the nerve to talk to me, then he can forget about me.
