Luke's POV
So the next day I did the same thing, this time it was only Andrea. Dressed up in a lacy red top and high-waisted black jeans, her lips were painted a deep maroon. "Hey," she breathed smiling at me.
"Hey." I smiled at her, placing a kiss on her lips. 'Ready?" I asked and she nodded taking my hand ad interlacing our fingers as I walked her to the Benz.
"Oh, you got a new car?" she asked and I nodded, looking over at her feeling the suede interior, smiling. She leaned back against the seat, and I began to drive through the dark roads of Sydney. The windows were down, humid air blew through them as G-Eazy played through the car. My hand rested on her thigh the whole ride until we reached the restraunt.
Andrea's POV
"Hemmings." I heard Luke mumble to the employee near the check in. I admired the restraunt, big glass windows, sparkly lights. "Ah, yes" the man responded in a french accent, which was pretty weird considering we lived in Australia but okay. "Mr. and Mrs. Hemmings, right this way." He opened his right arm in the direction of our table before leading us to it.
I walked looking around at the building, lots of rich old couples.
I sighed, satisfied as soon as I sat down. "Mr. And Mrs. Hemmings," Luke smirked "I like it."
I giggled. "Boy, you wish." I rolled my eyes, placing my hand on the table, still admiring the restaurant.
"I do." He said taking my hand making me smile widely.
"This place is really nice, this is gonna cost you a fortune."
"Well, I wanted to treat my babygirl." Placing a kiss to the back of my hand, I contained my smile with a lip bite before reaching for a menu and flipping through it. Choosing the cheapest thing which was some type of pasta and a water, Luke ordered a burger and fries.
"So, Luke, tell me about your family" I started spontaneously. A lot of our relationship was him reaching for me, so he never really gave himself the opportunity to let me get to know him.
"Oh well, I have two older brothers. Jack and Ben. My dad was never really around much, he was always working and showed his love through objects so I gravitated more to my mom. She was a teacher at my school so I would see her more. My life was pretty basic really, my family is really small and boring. No culture, we go to church once a year." He said, blue eyes trailing all around me as he spoke.
I realized how different we were, he didn't care as much about our racial differences as I did, I was insecure about them because really I didn't think he could handle it. But I guess he really liked it, as he took every opportunity to be around my family as possible and I never done as much as seen his mom.
"Oh." Was all I said. "Mine is the complete opposite, lots of culture, everyone's really close. My dad showed his love through his efforts since that was all he really could do. All the generations are pretty close, as you can tell"
"Yeah, last night was so fun. A.J.'s a really great guy, and Jayla is hilarious.."
"She can be a pain in the ass sometimes but I guess." I mumbled to the table and looked laughed, his dimples evident when he did.
Our waiter came over and took our order before handing us water and going back over.
"So, any college plans?" I asked, taking a sip of my water.
"Yeah I might be going to N.Y.U. for medicine" he shrugged and I smiled, biting my lips for probably the seven hundredth time tonight.
"Ooo Dr. Hemmings." I sang wiggling my eyebrows, emphasizing the Dr. because let's be honest - I'd be sick every week if I was his patient.
He rolled his eyes. "It's not really what I want to do but it's stable"
"What do you want to do?"
"Music. I play guitar and I'm in a band with Calum, Michael, and Ashton - it's pretty famous got a couple thousand subs on YouTube." He told me, my eyes widened.
"How come I've never heard of this?"
"Because you never leave that damn library."
"True, true."
The night went on, the date couldn't have gone better. Luke and I's conversation was great, never ending. I didn't really know him and by the end of the night I felt like I have for years. Not to mention the food was hella good.
Luke pulled into my driveway, the porch light flashing on as he did so.
"This was really fun, you gotta come play me some songs one day." I told him and he nodded, smiling. I leaned into a kiss with him, that as time passed, made it harder to pull away.
"Do you wanna come in for a little?" I asked him and he mumbled some kind of agreement. We got out and I made sure to make a point of locking the Benz before we continued.
(natalie_pottorff you. well us.)
I took his hand, walking through the dark of the hallway and up to the balcony.
"You thought" I smirked and he rolled his eyes playfully before sitting in the chair and I sat down beside him, he wrapped his arm around me and sighed satisfyingly before looking up at the stars.
I could see him tense up, fiddling his fingers as his hand hung from his arm.
"H-Hey," he breathed out, I turned to look at him - my eyebrows raised in interest. "Just a.. random thought. Do you, by any chance, want to be my girlfriend?" He asked. A large smile tugged at my lips and I struggled to hold it back. I turned my head back to the sky and talked in a carefree tone like Luke did.
"I mean, I guess" I imitated him shrugging, the smile won me so I held it back with a lip bite turning to face the excited boy.
"Cool, I guess." He cracked an adorable smile, his cheeks tinted a light rose as he ran his hand through his hair.
(picTURE LUKE IS SO CUTE IT HURTSSSSSS)
"You guess."I said chuckling, leaning over and placing a hand to his cheek before bringing us into a soft kiss - that was probably my favourite out of them all.
