Where Is Sami? {Troyler Au}

Three

Tyler picked up the photo album marked '6' and wiped the tears off of his cheeks though they were quickly replaced with fresh, new tears. He opened the album, it only had three pages full of pictures from Sami's sixth birthday party.

This album was always the hardest to look at. These were the last known pictures of Sami. Troye remembered that day like it was yesterday. He would never forget it. It was his fault, if he would have just taken two trips rather than asking Tyler for help.

Flashback

Sami bounded into her parents bedroom excitedly, she was finally six! She climbed into the bed jumping up and down singing, "Happy birthday to me! Happy birthday to me! Happy birthday dear Sami! Happy birthday to-" Tyler pulled her down causing her to screech as he and Troye wrapped wrapped their arms around her as they sung "you."

"Can I go see it now?" Sami asked hugging her parents back.

"Go see what?" Troye asked faking confusion. Sami shook her head laughing. "You're silly. Can I go see my party? I heard you guys doing it but j stayed in bed like a good girl." The plan was for Troye and Tyler to have it all set up before Sami woke up but that didn't work out.

"Alright, since you caught us" Tyler said "Then we'll make a birthday breakfast."

"Waffles?" Sami asked with a pleading voice.

"Don't you want pancakes? Pancakes are better." Troye interjected. Tyler picked Sami up before saying, 'agree to disagree"

Troye and Tyler, along with Sami whom tyler is still holding, walked to the backdoor of the house. Tyler covered Sami's eyes as Troye opened the door and lead them outside, "Three. Two. One." Troye and tyler counted down together, when they reached one tyler removed his hand from Sami's eyes.

Sami gasped before wiggling out of Tyler's grip and running to the center of the yard. After listening to Troye's 'throwback' play list on Spotify, Sami decides she wanted a dollhouse themed birthday party based on Melanie's song. Melanie, being a friend of Troye's, was coming to the party to preform the song. It was a surprise for Sami. "This is beautiful! I love it!"

She ran to the life sized dollhouse at the back of the yard preparing to climb inside it when tyler stopped her, "Why don't we go make breakfast now?"

"Okay." Sami said changing direction and running back to her parents. She wrapped her arms around their waists before saying, "I love you guys very very much and I will love you guys very very much for ever and ever."

When the came time for the guest to start arriving sami starting blowing up balloons and handing them to Troye to tie. She ran off to show her first guest the dollhouse as soon as they arrived and continued to call other guests over as they arrived. Troye and tyler greeted the adults warmly and showed them to the refreshments.

A while later Troye announced he was going to get the cake and ice cream from the house. The sound of crying caught Tyler's attention and he made his way over to where the kids were playing. Upon seeing Sami laying on the ground he sat down next to her and pulled her into his lap. "What's wrong Samers? What hurts?" Tyler asked wiping her tears.

"I feel down. My leg hurts." She said sniffling.

"Oh no, are we going to have to cut it off? Or will a visit from the tickle monster make it better?" He asked and immediately after started tickling her. Sami started laughing and thrashing he legs around exactly like Troye does when he's being tickled.

"Hey Tilly?" Troye called from somewhere inside the house. "Yes TimTam?" Tyler yells back discontinuing tickling Sami. "Can you come and help me?"

'Sure give me a second." He yells to Troye before turning back to Sami, "better?" He asks and she nods. "Okay go play. We're gonna do cake and ice cream soon. I love you beautiful, happy birthday." He says and stands up after her.

"Thank you daddy. I love you too." She said before back to her friends. Tyler made his way into the house where Troye was trying to balance cake, ice cream, and their gift to Sami. Tyler took everything from him setting it down on the counter one by one before wrapping
Troye up in his arms and pecking him on this lips, "we raised a beautiful little girl." Tyler said. "We sure did." Troye replied looking at the picture Sami drew of the family that was hanging on the refrigerator.

They made their way outside placing everything on the table before calling everyone over to watch sami open gifts and then eat cake and ice cream.

As everyone took their seats around the table Troye and Tyler scanned the heads for Sami. "Sami! Now isn't the time for hide and seek, it's time to open presents!" Troye shouted in the general direction of where the kids were playing.

'Oh, Sami isn't here." One of the kids spoke up before taking a drink of his punch.

"What do you mean Sami isn't here?" Troye asked, panic evident in his tone.

Tyler grabbed his hand waiting anxiously for someone to speak up. "She went with the lady in the trees to get her present." A girl finished. Tyler tossed Troye his phone to call the police before taking off in a sprint to to the trees that seperated their yard from the street.

After making his way around the view obstructing greenery, he paused looking up and down the street not seeing anyone, or any cars for that matter. Tyler ran back to Troye. Seeing as troye was the only one in the backyard he figured troye had sent everyone else away.

"What did the cops say?" Tyler asked breathlessly hoping that someone saw something and called it in. His hope deteriorated as troye looked up with watery eyes. "The said they'll be here soon."

A/n

So here's what happened to Sami.

This chapter isn't as edited as I wish it was but my cousin's water just broke so I'm going to babysit her brothers kids while he goes to the hospital with her, so I have no time.

I've learned two things while writing this, 1: refrigerator doesn't have a d in it but fridge does? And 2: I get side tracked very easily.
