The graduation ceremony for Batch 2013 of College of Architecture went well. Or so everybody else thought. Not for Maine.
After all the buzzes of Judie's somewhat surprise show up, finally she noticed Maine, who felt a little bit out of placed, all of her classmates go gaga over Judie's red fitted dress. The dress some how stole the thunder from all the women graduates who wore either black or any other dark colors. Not even yet minding the slit on the right side of her dress.

When Alden went down the stage, Judie finally had the time to look Maine, who wore just a simple knee-length navy blue dress.

"Maaaaaine!!!", Judie said when she spotted Maine. Maine, as hard as it was to admit, also missed her. She hugged Judie as hard as she also hugged her. After all the his and hellos, Maine couldn't still believe it. There, her long lost friend, her confidant... The friend who had a tremendous crush on Alden then, and she guessed that by the way she looked at him a little while ago, still has and more.
"She would have not worn that red dress if not.", Maine thought.
"Oh! Hi Aldeeen!", Judie exclaimed looking behind Maine's direction. "Congrats!" Then Judie reached for Alden's cheek for a quick buss.
Alden, caught of guard, gave her simple thanks and gave Maine a quick, knowing glance that he'll just go to where his parents are. Maine nodded as if also telling him that she'll also join them in a few.
Judie, noticed the exchanged glances between the two but did not say anything.
After a few minutes and a few laughs and after exchanging digits, Judie bid her goodbyes to Maine, but never failed to take a quick glance to Alden, who stood a few meters away from them, before she left the auditorium.
Of which, Maine noticed.

Around 10PM when, Maine reached her house in Fairview, Alden brought her home but also went home immediately because the graduates will have their after party hangout.
Not even long enough she settled to bed, her phone beeped. Judie sent her a text message.
"Hi Maine! Do you, in some way, know Alden's digits? I have a preposition for him now that he graduated. Thank you!" -Judie
