Chapter 32
Hello, it's me
I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet
To go over everything
They say that time's supposed to heal ya
But I ain't done much healingHello, can you hear me?
I'm in Viridian dreaming about who we used to be
When we were younger and free
I've forgotten how it felt before the world fell at our feetThere's such a difference between us
And a million milesHello from the other side
I must have called a thousand times
To tell you I'm sorry for everything that I've done
But when I call you never seem to be home
Hello from the outside
At least I can say that I've tried
To tell you I'm sorry for breaking your heart
But it don't matter. It clearly doesn't tear you apart anymoreHello, how are you?
It's so typical of me to talk about myself. I'm sorry
I hope that you're well
Did you ever make it out of that town where nothing ever happened? And it's no secret that the both of us
Are running out of timeSo hello from the other side
I must have called a thousand times
To tell you I'm sorry for everything that I've done
But when I call you never seem to be home
Hello from the outside
At least I can say that I've tried
To tell you I'm sorry for breaking your heart
But it don't matter. It clearly doesn't tear you apart anymoreAnymore

But it don't matter. It clearly doesn't tear you apart anymoreWhite felt Archy's head raise off her knee as something rustled in the trees ahead. She looked up just in time to see a Golett watching them between the forest trees. Since Golett was a somewhat artificial pokemon, it showed no emotions at the sight of the human and her Arcanine. It merely stared at them eerily, like a short statue.
The human girl smiled and told it quietly, "Hello, what are you doing here?"
The Golett continued to stare at her. A few lights on its body lit up and flickered off and on.
"Are we trespassing on your land?" She continued. "We won't be here long, just a day. We'll be gone tomorrow."
"I doubt it can understand you," Archy snorted as White got up to kneel in front of it.
"Shut up, I'm trying to make a friend that isn't a boy," White whispered from the corner of her.
"How do you know he isn't a boy?"
"Goletts' are gender less!"
But right when she began petting it, there was a loud crash and a yelp behind her. Her hand shot back and the Golett jumped up and began screeching in a robotic voice, "GOLETT, GOLETT, GOLETT!"
