OMG FAM I JUST REALIZED THAT I HAVE A TOTAL OF SIXTY NINE VOTES!!!!! YAYYYYYYY! SOOOooOoOoOoOoOoOo
In thanks, I'm going to go ahead and write up another chapter... Even though I just posted earlier... And this probably won't be uploaded tomorrow. BUT AYYYYYY.
I looked up and my eyes met with a pair of dark brown ones. "What do you want rogue?" I spat. "Calm down princess, I mean no harm." He grinned, "and as I'm sure you've heard, my name is Percy. Ya know I never really liked that word... Rogue I mean. It sounds so elegant but it means something vile and rebellious. It's quite the clash of adjectives." He said as he looked around.
"How did you find me? There's no way in hell you followed my scent because, like all assassins, I don't have a scent. That's what makes hunters and assassins special. So how did you find me?" I growled lowly as Percy slowly walked over to me. "You're right, I didn't follow your scent. I followed you. See now, as soon as they all left to search for you after you took off, I shifted and ran as fast as I could in the real direction you went. When I say real, I mean everyone else was so wrapped up in the fact that a killer is their Luna, they didn't even notice that you had run off until I started randomly laughing. So they started searching in all the wrong places" He chuckled.
"You're quite clever ya know? I find you intriguing. A typical girl would have swoon over the fact she was destined to be with a muscular and sexy alpha, but you? You actually have common sense. You'd practically been kidnapped and dragged to a place where people threatened to kill you, so what did you do? You ran like a sane person." He continued as he chucked a stick.
"But you and I both know, you can't go back home. That'll be the first place they look. But assuming that you have as much ego and pride as a typical assassin, I don't think you'll be going back to the pack houses with your tail between your legs." He said as I listened intently with a confuzzled look on my face.
"So what're you proposing..?" I asked hesitantly, I know better than to listen to a rogue, but I have a feeling I can actually trust this guy. After all, he hasn't yelled out my location or anything... And he doesn't seem like he wants to return me. In fact, I think he wants the same thing as me. Freedom.
"I'm proposing that you come stay at my place for a while, but only until the heat dies down. Then we can make up some excuse and send you back on your way home." Percy said as he held out a hand to pull me up. I sighed, I know I really shouldn't trust him, but he's the best chance I have. I guess I'll just go along with his plan. Then as soon as I have the opportunity to leave without the fear of a pack showing at my door, I'll make a run for it.
I scowled and took his hand as he grinned. "Oh come on Miss sunshine, it could be worse. At least I'm not asking for anything in return. You should be grateful." He said lightly smirking. "Okay you cocky bastard, I'm only taking up your idea because I have no where else to go." I said slightly defeated as he lead me through the woods.
But only instead of taking the right I had planned, we took a left. "So tell me about yourself Sunshine." He said to me as he stepped over a log. "Ehhhhh what exactly do you wanna know?" I asked. I can't reveal too much obviously. But if I'm going to be stuck with this guy, I might as well give him the basics.
"Tell me.... What makes you, you. Tell me how you became as assassin, tell me about your friends, your family. Why you're such a lovely and joyful ball of happiness-" he stopped to shoot me a playful and sarcastic look which I returned a sly grin to.
"Also, I need to know if you're ticklish. That's a big need to know, like I won't let you into my house without knowing." He laughed as we crossed over a creek. "Well let's see, I absolutely HATE ice cream-" I was cut off by Percy gasping, "WHAT?! HOW DARE YOU SAY SUCH A THING ABOUT ICE CREAM. The heavens gifted us with the frozen treats! You must've had a seriously suck ass child hood, no wonder you're so bitchy! You lived without ice cream!" Percy exclaimed as he threw his hands into the air. "WELL THIS EXPLAINS EVERYTHING!" He finished so I could continue.
I lightly laughed, "Yes Percy, I hate ice cream. I have ever since an incident at an ice cream parlor. See, my best friend Xavier, he loved ice cream with a passion. So, since I had never tried ice cream before, he brought me to his favorite parlor. But we were ambushed by creatures that Xavier called the Chaos. Unfortunately, they killed Xavier. So, in memory of him, I decided to eat some ice cream for the first time ever. He would've been infuriated if he saw my face scrunch up in disgust. It tasted fine, but I had some sort of bitter hate towards it."
"Anyways moving on from the sappy sentimental stuff, My name is Natasha, SO STOP CALLING ME SUNSHINE. I'm uhm... I'm...-" I stopped, well I can't exactly tell him my age for obvious reasons. "I'm eighteen." I said blandly.
"That's a lie." Percy grinned. "I know all about you assassins and what makes you special. Unlike hunters, you don't generally age that fast. Not that fast at all. In fact, one year to you is one thousand human years to us. The moon goddess herself gifted the assassins with this power, again, unlike hunters, you don't generally kill wolves just for fun or because of any reason you feel. In fact, you were originally created to protect the wolves against the good wolves the moon goddess created that had gone bad. The wolves that had gone bad were called the Chaos. A Chaos is a high powered wolf that usually has midnight blue fur with red eyes, but not all of the good wolves went bad. The high powered wolves that remained good were called Makars. (Mah-car) Makars are given healing and protection powers that can help wolves wounded by the chaos." Percy said as we walked into a clearing where a two story house and a small town sat behind the house. "Luckily most of the chaos has died out, but unfortunately so has the Makar bloodline. So, assassins are kept as guardians to the wolves just in case the chaos ever return" he finished and let me in.
"Wait, you never answered me." He stopped and looked to me, "Are you ticklish?" He grinned as I grew fearsome. Shiiiiiitttttttttt my ultimate weaknesss. "Tell me." "I'd rather be burned alive." "TELLL MEEEE." "No!" "Fine then!" Percy yelled as he tackled me and began to tickle me mercilessly. "STOP!!!!" I laughed out as he smirked. "SUFFERRRRR." He cackled as we both laughed loudly. But that was soon interrupted when the door broke down, revealing a seriously pissed Kyle.
