Percy's wolf form walked up behind me and lightly bumped into me. I smiled and ruffled his fur, then he knocked my legs from underneath me and quickly picked me up.
Then? He ran. But not in the direction of his house, nor mine. Instead, he was heading straight for the pack house.
"PERCY WHAT THE HELL?!" I yelled in anger.
I KNEW I SHOULDN'T HAVE TRUSTED A ROGUE!!! He's been lying to me from the beginning! Of course he was, Percy is weaker than the other pack wolves. So naturally of course he wouldn't disobey them. He's nothing but a useless, lying traitor! I bet this was his plan all along! To follow me and then stall until someone would find us! I growled and let my fury control my actions.
I pulled out the same silver dagger that I stabbed Kyle with, took both hands and brought it up above his neck. There is a serious artery in the neck, if I can hit it, it'll be death in minutes for this runt.
Before I could bring down the dagger, he looked back to me with his brown eyes full of sorrow.. But the sorrow instantly turned to fear. Percy looked ready to piss himself, and he should be. When I brung down the dagger to strike the killing blow, Percy instantly skidded to a stop and I flew off his back.
However, instead of hitting a tree. I was thrown into a warm brick wall that was slowly rising and falling, Mathew's chest. I looked up to see his icy blue eyes glaring at me, but a hint of relief was in them.
"Holly, please take Ms.Natasha here to the infirmary. It appears as though her upper leg has a rather deep cut." He said darkly as I felt the blood from my wound drip down my leg like water after a shower.
The short girl from earlier quickly skipped to my side and took me by the hand. She started to haul me off into a different direction, but I took one last glance back to see Percy looking sadly at me with his tail between his legs.
Perhaps maybe he did really care about me, but even so, he still betrayed me. That can't be forgiven so easily.
-Time skip-
Holly then opened the door to the third house and stepped in. The house was full of wolves running around and laughing, most of them children.
She pulled me off to the side to where a staircase lead two ways: up... and down. We went down the stairs to what seemed to be an infirmary. The place smelled of disinfectants and medicine, however it didn't look like a typical infirmary.
The walls were light blue, and the floors were tiled with a pattern of the same blue and some white. The beds however, looked as though they belonged to a hospital. Eight beds laid a meter apart, all of them empty.
However, a girl sat in the chair next to one of them.
She looked to be in her late twenties or early thirties, but she dressed as though she lived in the 18th century. She had kind and old wise brown eyes, long platinum blonde hair and a gorgeous smile.
"Hello, my name is Cordelia, I'm the Makar.. I have healing powers I'll be using to help you today." She said as she stood up and walked over to me and Holly. "Holly, please set the Assassin down on this bed here..." Cordelia pointed to a bed and Holly gently sat me down on it."
"I'm afraid her leg has been deeply cut ma'am.." Holly stuttered. Cordelia looked over to me, "So I see..." She mumbled, "Holly, Thank you. I'll tend to her at once.." Cordelia said as she elegantly walked over to me.
"I'll fix you up real quick, don't you worry Ma petite." She smiled and brushed her fingers over my eye lids, suddenly my eyes became very heavy, and I quickly sunk into sleep.
