Recap!

"Hey guys, this beauty here is Shirley!" Gina yanked me in the direction of a group of very beautiful looking people. And there, was Jesse Edwards.

"Shit" I muttered.

Part Two

Jesse Edwards looked a little different, but the light blue and green tinted eyes were still there, along with the man shoulders and manly hands. Most girls would be in heaven if he slept with her. That was me. Like four years ago. His arm was loped around beautiful girl's shoulders, and he was cradling a beer. Then he realized who I was. When his eyes locked on mine, his mouth formed an 'O', along with almost dropping his beer. Gina was still introducing me to the small gathering of people. She had to shout loudly under the thumping music. The beautiful girl who was Jesse's current lover smirked at me.

"Name is Monica."

"Hi Monica..." In sudden realization, I remembered the wasted girl who thought I was Daphne. She said she was running away from some Monica. This must that Monica. A red-haired girl passed me an open beer. In the flashing lights, I took in Monica's dark eyes, raven hair and sloped nose. She wore teetering silver heels and a mini dress that looked exactly like mine, but in a hot pink. Jesse kept trying to catch my eye but I refused to acknowledge him until I got my mind cleared up.

Jesse. A flurry of memories blew past me like the bikers heading towards Central Park at 7 AM. It was only my 2nd night in New York and already it's been ruined by someone in my past? Jesse excused himself from Monica and walked over to me, where I was awkwardly standing next to Gina. I couldn't read his expression well in the flashing lights, but he looked . . . not surprised?

"What are you doing here?" I hissed loud enough to be heard over the pounding music.

"What are you doing here?" His breath on my ear, I kept still. Monica noticed how close Jesse was standing next to me, and her eyes flashed at me. I waved it off and faced Jesse.

"Look, don't mess this up for me, okay?"

"I heard about your leaving UKAS yesterday." He murmured. "Is this permanent?"

"No." I replied without thinking, just to get him off of the subject. I didn't want anyone to hear what we were talking about. What if he blackmails me? Threatens to tell everyone - Landon - who I really am, before I can even start my new life? But no, he has no reason too right? He may like games, but this is his secret too. He used to be in UKAS three years ago as well. He pulled on my arm, and before I knew it he was taking me to the dance floor. I tried to wrench free using my assassin strength but he held on tight.

"No, I won't dance with you." I snarled. He smirked, but gripped my wrist harder. I could see from the corner of my eye that Monica was fuming.

"Relax; I just want Monica to get off my back. Please?" He said in my ear. A new song came on and more people piled on the dance floor. I gritted my teeth, but gave in. We danced under the rainbow lights. But I kept my eyes off him, staring up at the ceiling or looking down as I danced. I was so weird to be this close to him again. But you've been closer. My attraction towards him was long gone I told myself. When the song was ending, I felt a hard tap on my shoulder. I turned around annoyed to see Monica smiling icily at me.
