 Recap!

And guess what, later on because of those basic tips – I got the job. Yippee!

 Part Four

I’ve decided I am not going to keep that modeling job for long. Maurice and Landon have complimented me on my extreme model potential body, but I can’t keep this up. I just wasn’t made for that. Maurice commented on my defined muscles at the shoot, asking if I was a gymnast before. I wasn’t sure what to say, I gained these muscles from working out so I can be ready for all my missions. So I just told her that I had a personal trainer and working out kept my mind at ease. That answer seemed to satisfy her and she didn’t ask any more questions.

And now, I’ve decided to look online for good realtors. I really should get a nice apartment or loft. I have an appointment tomorrow for a go see on lofts and apartments available in the higher end areas of New York City. And I’ve also decided that I want a cat, a big white one. My phone vibrated.

“Hello?”

“Shirley its Madison. How did the go see go with Maurice?”

“Oh . . . it went okay. I fooled them though, barely. So I got the job.”

“Yippee! Congratulations!” Madison shrieked in my ear. I winced. Jeez, she’s going to blow out my eardrums one day. She was excitedly talking about her experience in New York and then on the west coast. We talked some more and then I decided I better go to sleep; the hours in New York were different than in London. We said our good byes. And we also avoided the topic of our family back at UKAAS and. . . Connor.

The next morning, I woke up and decided to go to the gym. I asked around and the hotel actually had a gym. Well it should have one if the customers are paying a thousand dollars every night. The work out got a lot off of my mind. It felt great to have the gym as an outlet for everything that had happened in the last few days. I got off of the treadmill and down a whole bottle of water in a matter of seconds. Sweat was plastered to my lower back and forehead. There was a sauna so I relaxed in there.

What kind of loft do I want? Maybe I’ll look for one of those high end ones with lots of floor to ceiling windows and bar stools in the kitchen. Ooh, I’m totally going to invest in an interior decorator. After taking a shower I decided to go see Gina and make an appointment for more shopping. I’ve got the basics down, but when Landon calls I want to be ready. Hmm, when is he going to call me back? Surely he has a party tonight like how Sarah said he would. Maybe he has found a new girl to take to a party, a bitter voice sounded in my head.
