When They First Said "I Love You" Part Two

Your parents and you had left to go visit Luke and his aunt and uncle, for dinner. You were so excited to see Luke, he hadn't been at the Toshi Station yesterday, like he said he'd be. As you neared the settlement you saw smoke rising in the air. Your father stopped the speeder as you reached the smoking settlement. A figure stood in front of the debris.

Luke.

You hopped out of the speeder, ignoring your parents protests. You jogged up to Luke. You stood next to him.

"They tried to escape." He said, pointing to the two skeletons by the entryway.

You looked away, sadly. His aunt and uncle were as much family to you as they were to Luke. You'd known them all your life.

"I'm so sorry Luke." You said.

"I have to go with him." He mumbled, so quietly you almost didn't hear him.

"What?" You said, looking up at him.

"I have to go." He replied. "I have nothing left here."

"Where are you going? Stay. I'm here." You begged.

Luke left a lingering kiss on your lips. "I have to leave. You might not understand now, but I have to avenge them. Uncle Owen, Aunt Beru...my father."

"Who did this." You asked.

"A man. His name is Darth Vader. He betrayed my father. Killed him. And he's done it to my Aunt and Uncle now. I have to leave." He said, looking back to his speeder.

"You'll be back soon right?" You asked.

He kissed your hands. "I love you Y/N. I'll be back as soon as I can." He said, turning to his speeder.

You watched him speed off.

"Where is that boy going?" Your father asked.

"He's going to avenge his family."

Han had gotten himself into more trouble than he had been in in awhile. He wouldn't tell you anything about what was going on, when the a ship locked into you.

"Chewie, what's going on?" You asked, as he led you through the ship. "Where are we going?" Chewie didn't say anything. "Chewie-"

"Stop trying to get out of him, he's not saying anything." Han said.

"Can't you just tell me what's going on?!" You exclaimed.

"Pirates. That's what's going on." He said.

"Han Solo. Abandon ship, or suffer the consequences." A voice echoes through the ship.

"Chewie get her out of here!" Han said.

"Hey, I wanna help." You protested.

"You can't help." He said, sounding annoyed.

"You made me co-co-pilot for a reason." You said, stamping your foot.
