L U K E•

He hadn't come home.

You had been waiting for what seemed like forever. He was supposed to be home by now. One of his friends were leaving. Moving, to a different city for their new job and he and his friends went to go have a night together with him.

You had called him too many times and they had all gone straight to voicemail. You were starting to get worried. Luke and his friends loved to be rowdy. They liked to drink.

And they also liked to drive.

You knew him to be more responsible the suspension was killing you. You called him again.

"Hey! It's Luke. Sorry I can't get to the phone right now, but I'll call you back when I can."

You hung up again. Straight to voicemail. Minutes passed and your phone started ringing. You rushed to see who it was. It wasn't Luke. It was an 'Unknown Caller ID'. You picked it up.

"Hello?" You said, into the phone.

"Is this Y/N L/N?" A woman's voice asked.

"Yes." You said cautiously.

Please don't be bad news, please.

"We're calling to tell you, that your companion, Luke Skywalker, got into a car crash earlier this evening, were you aware of that?" The woman asked.

You let out a shaky sigh, tears rimmed your eyes. "No."

"Don't worry miss. He'll be fine. Only a broken wrist. He's lucky he didn't suffer worse injuries."

You sighed out in relief. The woman told you which hospital Luke was at, so that you could pick him up. When you pulled up in front of the building, you saw a sheepish Luke, hobbling out of the front doors, a cast around his left arm. You rushed out of the car and embraced him tightly, making sure not to move his cast around too much.

"I was so worried about you." You murmured into his shoulder.

"I know. I'm sorry. We were being stupid." Luke apologized.

"What happened?" You asked.

"Well...um...Randall got a little crazy-"

"Drunk." You corrected.

"Y-yeah...and he wanted to race the cars on the highway. I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to worry you so much."

"Luke, I hope you learned your lesson. You could have been killed." You scolded.

"I know, I wasn't thinking straight. Randall wasn't the only one intoxicated."

You sighed and leaned up to kiss his cheek. "You hick, I should give you a broken leg for that worry you caused me."

Luke chuckled. "I get it, okay. How many times do I have to say it?"

You shook your head. "Don't tell me, show me." You said, bringing his lips down on yours.

With his good arm he pulled you closer to him. He pulled back and rested his forehead on yours. You smiled and shook your head.

"You're lucky I love you, you little hick."
