Chapter 14
5 days later...
As I open my locker, Ben's big fat head pops up to the side of my locker.
"So what time are we going to be having our little tutor session, Nichole?" he says with a superior gleam in his eyes.
I roll my eyes and sigh, "When your mum calls me in."
He touches his heart with his palm, "Woah, I'm hurt, that you are only going to come when my mum calls you. What about me? What if i spontaneously need you, and don't know how to do my homework."
I stare at him unimpressed. "Look Ben, enough with you're damn antics. I've got classes to go to ok. See you when I need to, bye." I wave off and start strolling off to our next class.
He just stands there smirking, watching me walk off, knowing that he's gotten under my skin.
I just put my earphones in and start bopping my head to one pilot 'stressed out' and sit in class doing the work peacefully.

I finish my jog around the block without being interrupted by Ben, for once, which feels damn odd. He usually busts in to annoy me. What's he up to?
As i start changing my phone buzzes, well what do you know, as luck would have it, his mum is calling me over to tutor him today. What are the odds of that.
I start changing quickly into some peach gym shorts and an aqua T-shirt. I put my flats on and start walking to that little devil's place.
I arrive at his house, hesitating mid-knock at the front door, maybe this isn't such a good idea helping him, especially when he tried to kiss me and is giving me all these confusing feelings. I ponder this, as the door suddenly bursts open.
"So are you going to keep standing there staring in shock a my handsomeness or are you going to come in Nichole " he says arrogantly.
I put my hand that was in mid air down quickly and arch my eyebrows at him stating, "Obviously I'm coming in, even if i have to sit with a beast like you the whole time. Hmf."
I swiftly walk past him towards his room, not caring if he follows. I just want to hurry up and get this over with.
I sit on my chair and sigh, waiting for him to get here.
10 minutes pass and he is still nowhere to be seen, the crapper.
Maybe he's taking a shit, so i choose to wait a bit longer.
Tapping my foot in extreme irritation i look down at my watch again, another 10 minutes has passed and he still hasn't finished whatever it is he's been doing. Dammit!!
"That's it!" i say out loud swinging out of the chair, and stalk down the stairs looking for the cretin.
I reach the end of the staircase and use my hawk like trained eyes to scan the premises, and see nothing.
So i continue walking all over the damn floor and still see nothing. I spot his mum reading on the patio and ask, "Have you seen Ben?"
She looks up with a confused expression, "I'm afraid not darling, i assumed he was upstairs with you".
"Ok no worries". I continued my search for this damn child.
Exasperated at my lack of findings here, i go back upstairs to see if i walked past him.
I search in the loungeroom, and other rooms, but to no avail. He seems to have bloody vanished into thin air.
Wait a minute, why am i even wasting my precious time and energy looking for this idiot. I don't even care about him, let alone if he fails. All that matters is that i be here and go home after the 2 hours is up. I'm not letting him screw me around any longer.
