I always thought I wouldn't die young even if you hear it all over the news. I was pretty sure I was going to make it to old age and then pass away with the happy feeling of making something of my life. Oh no, wait, nothing that I want ever happens to me. Does it? Of course not... Not even me having a good relationship counts anymore.
I felt the blood trickling down my T-shirt. My best T-Shirt as well. Damn, someone will need to sew this hole up afterwards.
I don't know what happens now. Do I just fall back? Do I go to heaven like people say or do I do nothing at all? What does happen? I just want to know what happens to me now. Please? Tell me? I don't want to be left out. Like usual.
It was a sunny day, and I was walking along the street. I was looking for my best friend, Anna. She was the one I went to school with. We both agreed on everything. We were practically inseparable, joined at the hip. Only, there was one thing that set us apart. We looked different. I was more Scene, Emo looking and she was more of the innocent and shy looking, but she was way naughtier than you may believe. Her looks were deceiving. But that was about it, other than that, we weren't separable. Just the other day I was with her and we happened to love the same top (Yes, we were shopping!) But I spotted the same one right behind it, same size. We bought them and we looked practically like twins. Everyone thought we were related. I wish. Seriously. I do wish.
I saw her peering through a shop window. Her hair was straight, like mine, but hers was a brown with a tinge of blonde. Mine was black, with random colours like pink and blue thrown in for the mix. And of course, my favourite colour, Purple was there.
"Anna!" I called, smiling as I hurried towards my best friend and fellow student, Anna. "How long have you been here?"
Anna turned towards me and shrugged. "I'm not a walking watch," She muttered, grinning as she threw her arms round my shoulders. I wrapped my arms around Anna, squishing her.
"How's Duncan?" Anna asked me. I just gave her a shrug as I pushed hair back from my face.
"He's alright. It's been a year since we started going out as a proper couple. He gave me this huge teddy. It's so sweet and cute. I gave him this mug with 'You're my MAN' written on the side of it. He practically glowed with happiness," I explained this all to her. I blushed in embarrassment. Anna listened, her mouth hanging open before she realised what she was doing.
"Seriously! Oh my God! I'm so happy for you two!" Anna exclaimed this, jumping like she'd won some prize. Just what I needed in the middle of high street.. Though I was blushing in embarrassment anyway, "So, anyway, I was thinking, maybe we could go in a shop, before going back to your place," She added, peering at me to see if I would object to any of the plan. I obviously didn't. Anna and I would do this on a daily basis.
Nodding my head, we both headed into the main street, discussing what shops to go in and what stuff we need/ should buy.
Back at mine we unloaded what we had bought and I showed Anna what Duncan gave me. It was a chocolate brown Teddy bear with the small black eyes and the stitched mouth that is smiling. It's cute. Anna hugged it, before handing it back to me. I reluctantly put it in my bedroom and before going to the kitchen, joined to the front room, before doing us both something to eat.
"We got homework due in tomorrow. That stupid one on 'Acids and Alkalis'. Obviously, I had to do it otherwise my parents would kill me and I got another detention. She'd also not let me out of this house until I was able to pull up my grades," I started up a conversation with Anna, guessing that she hadn't done the homework and most possibly got it off someone else.
"I know. Like usual, I copied it of someone. He's going to be shocked tomorrow!" Anna replied, not letting on to me who she had copied of. She placed herself on my sofa, legs lying over the table in front of her. That irritated me, but I didn't say anything. I just walked out into the kitchen to grab the food, which was resting on the kitchen side. Just as
I walked back in, rolling my eyes at her posture as I placed down the food I had gotten out. Now all we had to do was eat it before my parents came back. They sure as hell didn't like a mess.
