I've added a new character into this part. He'll be more frequent most likey as we go along

This lesson was going to go fast. I could tell just from where everyone was just laughing about and working at the same time. I was just sitting there, staring at my screen with my work up. I knew I wouldn’t get much done, so I took out my phone and checked to see if I had any texts. Only 4 texts from some idiot. I checked. Yep, they’re from Duncan. He knew my timetable inside like usual. I knew his. Nothing weird about it really since I did tell him every day what I had and where I had it. I scrolled through the messages from him, sighing as I wanted to text back but I knew there was no point to it. If I wanted to talk to him, I would in my own time.
I watched as people walked past me up to the teacher, asking for help with their work. I just didn’t bother. I knew the teacher wouldn’t bother talking to me because I usually got the work done and I then usually also just sat and did nothing but sit there in front of the computer with my phone out and just not bothering. It was a common thing to happen and didn’t take a genius to find out when I’m in the mood to work or not.
When I wasn’t paying attention, one of my fellow classmates, the dicks, threw something at me and it managed to hit me in the back of the head. Didn’t hurt much, I just turned round and glared at them all. Daring them to try it again. Good thing to say that they never tried again. Instead, one of my friends, who is a guy, came over and sat next to me in the empty seat. “Callie… Something’s not right. You’re usually happy and will casually just throw the thing back at us and actually be able to hit one of us because your throw is just that better than ours,” This guy, whose name was Jacob, preceded to say to me, placing a hand on my shoulder in a comforting manner.
“Thanks Jake, but thing is, it’s to do with Duncan and honestly, I’d rather not speak about it. Just too much personal going on,” I shrugged as I turnt round to face him in my chair.
Jacob is a good looking guy, but not better looking than Duncan. I remember meeting Jacob and thinking “Wow…” We’ve been close friends ever since. Jacob’s dress sense, however, wasn’t something I was in to and that was the downfall between me and him dating and me and Duncan dating. Jacob’s got olive-toned skin, giving a nice complexion with a mixture of lights and dark but Jake just likes to wear dark’s which doesn’t help his case. But it seems to swing it for his friends so I wasn’t going to complain and get him to correct his fashion sense.
I leaned on him, giving in to his presence. I was going to turn him away or turn round to give him the idea that I was done talking. But I couldn’t. I just needed this sort of thing and I was happy for once today to get what I wanted. I felt him stroking my hair and people coming up behind us to ask what is wrong. Jake just said it’s personal reasons. I felt like telling him there and then what was up, but that would only bring me more questions. I didn’t need that from anyone.
