First Person (Your POV)
How They Met....
"God damn mother nature," I muttered to myself. I constantly rubbed my arms to keep them warm. It was August and the cold came back from its grave. Summer had ended and I haven't got used to the changes...Dear Lord, I needed jesus during that time, or the bus for that matter.
A couple of hours earlier the temperature was scorching hot. I'm not even kidding, I had to run my ass into a ice cream store just so I can stop sweating a water fall. I was playing with the video game inside the shop, but then I noticed the sun was setting, and so it was time for me to leave. As soon as I set foot out the door, cold wind blasted into my face. Thank goodness I was wearing a (f/c) baseball cap to keep my (h/l), (h/c) intact, and I loved it with all of my heart. Then I waited for the bus at the bus stop, but it hasn't came in like twenty minutes and my patience is running thin.
But then I heard ringing. I looked both ways down the street to see if it was the bus.
Nothing there.
What in the world? I thought to myself.
Ring! Ring! This time the sound was louder.
"What in the world?" I turned left and say a blond heading down my direction. He rode at breakneck speeds on a bike.
"Step back!" he shouted.
I was two steps ahead of him. I literally jumped out of his way.
He pressed his breaks on the bike and began sliding down the side-walk. He went right past me. I swear, if I was still standing there, I'd be rammed over. Thank goodness though!
