Here is a Dialogue between a traveler and the Prophet (saw) which I thought was very inspirational and would be good to share. Look foward at the end I'm posting a small Dua' (Prayer)
A traveler once came to the mosque to see the Prophet. After greeting the prophet he was asked where he was from. The traveler replied that he came from very far just to get a few questions answered. Following is the dialogue between the traveler and the prophet:
1.Traveler: I do not want adhaab (Punishment) to be written in my account.
Prophet: Behave well with your parents
2.Traveler: I want to be known amongst people as an intelligent person...
Prophet : Fear Allah always.
3.Traveler: I want to be counted amongst Allah ' s favorites.
Prophet: Recite quran every morning and evening.
4.Traveler: I want my heart to always be enlightened.
Prophet: Never forget death
5.Traveler: I never want to be away from Allah ' s blessing.
Prophet: Always treat fellow creatures well.
6.Traveler: I never want to be harmed by my enemies.
Prophet : Always have faith in only Allah.
7.Traveler: I never want to be humiliated.
Prophet: Be careful of your actions.
8.Traveler: I wish to live long.
Prophet: Always do sile rahm. ( goodness towards blood relations)
9...Traveler: I want my sustenance to increase.
Prophet: Always be in wudhoo (Ablution).
10.Traveler: I wish to stay free of adhaab (Punishment) in the grave.
Prophet : Always wear pure (paak) clothes.
11.Traveler: I never want to burn in hell.
Prophet: Control your eyes and tongue.
12.Traveler: how do I get my sins forgiven.
Prophet: Always ask forgiveness from Allah with a lot of humility.
13.Traveler: I want people to respect me always.
Prophet: Never extend your hands of need at people.
14.Traveler: I want to always be honored.
Prophet : Never humiliate or put down anyone.
15.Traveler: I don ' t want to be squeezed by fishare qabr. (squeezing in the grave)
Prophet: Recite sura e mulk often (Part of Quran).
16.Traveler: I want my wealth to increase.
Prophet: Recite sura e waqia every night (Part of Quran).
17.Traveler: I want to be safe and at peace on day of judgement.
Prophet: Do zikr (Pray) of Allah from dusk to night.
18.Traveler: I want to be in full attention and concentration during namaaz.
Prophet : Always do wudhoo (Ablution)with concentration and attention
Allah says in the Quran in Surah 2 Verse 201: "And there are some who say Our Lord! Grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter and save us from the punishment of the fire."
Bismillah, In the name of Allah (S.W.T)
Glory be to he who created the Heavens and the Earth, who created the sons and daughters of Adam (p.b.u.h). Glory be to the Lord of all mankind, of all creatures, both in the sea and on land.
Ya Allah as the new year begins for all Muslims, let it be a year of prosperity, a year of happiness, a year of many blessing. As the new year begins for the Christians, the Jews, Hindus and Athiests, instill in their hearts peace, bless there families. Ya Allah if its meant for them, bring them on the path of Islam, the path of rightousness.
Oh my creator, like how it states in Bukhari Volume III Hadith 1243 "O Allah, fill my heart with Noor, and fill my eyes with it, and my ears. And put (this) Noor on my right and my left. Below, on top of me and ahead of me. Make this Noor a (source of) big light for me"
Oh my Lord, in the 21st Century. Children are disrespecting their parents, their mothers and fathers. They are using foul language against the people that brought them into this world! Ya Allah! If Paradise lies under the feet of a mother, then where are the children going? If they don't show peace towards their own family, Ya Allah save them!
Oh Giver and Taker of Life! When our lips are sealed on the day of Judgement. When our body parts will grow mouths, ya Allah please disclose my sins. Ya Allah I commit so much haraam, only you can see. If you can't forgive me, who will my Lord? When the grounds will shake and the earth will tremble. When the second trumpet is blown please my Creator, let me die with the Shahada on my lips. With me saying ā ʾilāha ʾillallāh, Muḥammad rasūlu-llāh. There is No God but Allah and Muhammad (p.b.u.h) is the last and final messenger.
Oh my Beloved, give the Ummah of my Prophet happiness and forgive our sins. Don't allow us to go astray, don't allow us on the wrong path.
