I had been planning on proposing to Aria for months now. She had no idea what was happening and I knew that she wouldn’t suspect anything; she was easy going like that. As soon as I put that ring on her it felt as if everything in the world was perfect. I had my mom back, a tattoo shop and the most beautiful women in the world by my side. Sometimes I just couldn’t help but thank god for everything good she had done for me.
I know in the beginning I had been a complete ass whole to her but things were going to be different now. I was going to spend my whole life if I had to in order to make it up to her. I just wanted to see that bright smile and those sparkly eyes every single day I woke up. We kissed and the whole world disappeared before us.
“I love you” she whispered softly as soon as our lips parted.
“I love you too” I say immediately and kiss her nose as my hands tighten around her soft waist.
She blinks a few times as the flashing begins to finally get to her and she looks around at the people still taking cameras. I hired a photographer and I knew our friends and family would try to capture the moment too. She blushed bright red and hid in to my chest and I chuckled and wrapped my arms around her. I didn’t think she could ever stop being embarrassed and blushing like a tomato but that was ok because I loved how cute she looked when she did it.
“This is embarrassing” she mumbles which only causes me to chuckle again. I ruffle up her hair and she looks up at me with gratefulness.
“We should get going don’t you think?” I ask her as I begin to guide her away from the stage. I hear a few people calling us but tonight is about us and no one else.
Only a few of the guys knew that I was planning on proposing to Aria. Steven wasn’t one of them mainly because I felt like Kenzi could get it out of him and she would definitely tell or beat me up. Kenzi hasn’t been as bad as she was when we first meet but she was still a little spitfire.
Aria and I had an amazing dinner 3 courses even though she didn’t want to keep eating she did because she was too happy not to. She was stuffed afterwards so we decided to go for a walk in Balboa Park. It was beautifully lid by Christmas white lights that made Aria look more dazzling then she already was.
“Your staring at me” she says with a giggle as she hits me on the arm.
“Because you look radiant” I answer as we stop in front of the lily pond the one where Aria meet my mother.
“Because I’m wearing make up?” she asked raising an eyebrow.
“I love you Aria… even when your hair is all tangled, your nose is running, you have red puffy eyes and nose” I say kissing her cute nose as I remembered the time I took care of her.
