Explain young lady!

"Jessamine !" Ella's voice
was abnormally high .

She quickly detangled herself from Dexter's grasp .

"We were just-" Dexter started , but was cut off by Jason.

"What the hell is going on ?" His voice was huskier than usual . It turned me on. He walked down the stairs and was now right beside me.

I was about to resume my interrogation but Ella beat me to it.

"I can't believe you didn't tell me you're dating Jason and that you moved out! You weren't even answering you're cell phone! I was worried sick." Her face was flushed by the end of her rant . Dexter rubbed soothing circles on her back.

I felt really bad. But I did have a very good excuse .

"Elle darling , I'm so sorry . I left the party with Jason and the time just went by really fast." I said .

"But why are you living here?" She questioned.

I didn't no what to say! I can't lie to my best friend. If I opened my mouth , the truth would come spilling out. Luckily Jason started talking,
"Well actually , Jessamine and I have been dating for a few months now. We've decided to move in with each other ."

"But why keep it a secret?"

"Jason was gonna move back to Italy and they didn't want to make it public if it was gonna end anyways" Dexter said. I internally thanked him for playing along .

"And I didn't want girls in our school to hate me because I was going out with him . But Jason convinced me to make our relationship public!" Lying to her was hard , but it needed to be done.

"Ok, I guess...I'm really happy for you Jess even if I think moving in is a bad idea ." Ella said . She was always so supportive .

"Anyway , why are you here ? " I ask. Was she dating Dexter?

"It's a long story"

"I've got time" I said

"Dexter and I were just hanging out ! Because we're friends now . Since the party." Ella looked very nervous .

"Chill Ella . Tell me later"

"Of course" 

I'm sure when we are in private she'll explain why she was making out with Dexter.

"Since we're all up I'll make coffee." I said.

I walked into the kitchen and Jason followed me.

"Where do you keep your mugs?"

"Left cabinet "

I started making the coffee. Ella usually adds 5 packs of sugar and a lot of milk, I like it with a bit of sugar . I'm guessing the boys drink  it black or -

"Princess!''

I look up at Jace."Yeah?" I hope he can't hear the worry in my voice. I don't like that I'm lying to Ella.

"Go with your friend I'll make the coffees. Relax"

"Okay"
 
I left Jason in the kitchen and made my way to the living room where Ella and Dexter were.

They were sitting on the couch and talking . I made my way towards them but a agonizing pain shot through my lower abdomen.

"Oh god!'' I yelled. I crouched down on the floor in a fetal position.

"Jessamine" Ella ran towards me .

"What's wrong?!'' Jason's voice was barely audible.

It was the last thing I heard before it all went black.
