Lucy P.O.V
Morning seemed to creep up on me quickly and I soon found myself checking my belongings to be sure I've got everything. 'This would be a tough quest and one that I'm 60% likely not to return from, but as of now I'm still a Fairy Tail mage. I had to at least try to believe in myself which wasn't that hard since my strength has increased a lot from all of my hard training and solo missions.'
I finally see that I have everything I need and sling my pack over my shoulder before heading to the train station. On my way there I run into the twin dragon slayers from Sabertooth who seemingly just finished a mission here in Magnolia. I don't engage in conversation though, I just sit on a bench after getting my train ticket and wait for my train to arrive at it's station. Giving them the cold shoulder didn't seem to work since they came right over to me and sat down next to me anyway.
"Hey Blondie, still looking hot I see" The pervert bee said in my ear.
"Hi guys..." I say as I turn to face the two with dead eyes.
"Where are you off to?" Rogue says while examining my survival pack.
"If you must know, I'm going on an S-Class quest by myself. I have to defeat 100 monsters and it should take a good 4 months."
"Why didn't you bring help? It surly would take much less time if you did and what if you get hurt?" Sting says with a slight worried tone in his voice.
"I'm just another stranger in Fairy Tail, I'm not even 100% sure I'll be staying there much longer. I'm taking this mission as a chance to gather my thoughts....or die, whatever comes first." I shrug which makes them both cock and eyebrow at my nonchalant attitude towards death.
"Does death not scare you or at least concern you?" Rogue asks me
"A wise man once told me that death is life's greatest journey.." I smile
"That's a great way to think about it." Sting smiles and looks up to Rogue who nods approvingly.
"It was nice talking to you guys, but I have a long train ride ahead full of motion sickness and pain. I'm sure you two would understand." I say as my train pulls up to the station.
"Blondie? You're a dragon slayer?" He asks quickly before I start to step onto the train.
"Yep, celestial" I smile once again before climbing into the train and finding a seat. I look out the window and frown a little before I hear two people sit in the booth next to me. I turn to look and it's the dragon slayers. "Guys?"
"We aren't letting you go alone.." Rogue says with a slight smile.
"Don't you guys have to get back to the guild?"
"That guild doesn't own us, besides they have no idea that we've finished our mission yet." Sting replies
"Thanks guys.." I blush a little since I didn't know they cared so much.
"Besides we would be crushed if you were to get killed out there and we could've helped" They say in unison which makes me giggle a bit before suddenly getting nauseous from the train beginning to move. Sting laughs a bit before his face turns super green and Rogue tries to tough it out.
'This will be a long ride' I think to myself while trying to take deep breaths.
