Chapter 9: Teams And Teasing

Lucy P.O.V
Us 3 slayers arrived home from our security job with 1,000,000J per slayer which made us happy considering how boring it was. We were all tired from the train ride back to our home town, so we decided to get some sleep before returning to the guild. I walked straight into Rogue's room with a slight blush.
"Can I sleep here? I have sweet dreams when I'm in your arms."
"Of course, you're my girl after all"
"Um you haven't asked me out yet." I scold as I climb into the bed with him.
"Oh shut up" He chuckles as he cuddles up to me.
"Well it's true, even if it might seem like we are from all the kissing."
"But you also can't sleep without me anymore." He retorts with a smirk.
"Touche...." I giggle as I close my eyes a try to sleep.

*Time Skip: 3 hours later*

I wake up to find that I am still all wrapped up in his tight embrace and I could feel the heat rushing to my cheeks as I figure out that I won't be going anywhere until he wakes up.
"Lucy stop moving.." He says in a husky morning voice that made my heart jump a little.
"S-sorry, um we should get ready to go to the guild now" I say while attempting to sit up.
"But I'm comfy" He whines while holding me closer to him.
"Please Rogue?" I pout which makes him sigh before releasing me and sitting up.
"Fine, but you owe me three wishes." He says as he gets up and leaves the room before I could protest. I sigh and walk to my room to get changed before heading down to the kitchen to make everyone some food. When I get down the stairs I find that Rogue and I are the only ones here.
"Rogue where are the exceeds and Sting?"
"They went to the guild already" He says while holding up a piece of paper to me.
"Oh, well are you hungry at all? I could make us something before we have to go." I ask while starting towards the kitchen.
"Come here." He says with a small smile on his face. 
"Oh, okay..." I hesitantly walk over to him before being pulled down onto his lap and into an intense make out session. I was surprised at first but it didn't take long at all for me to give in to him. After like 2 minutes we ran out of air and I was blushing and biting my lip nervously. He just chuckled before starting to kiss at the nape of my neck, sending shivers down my spine. I let a small moan escape my lips which seemed to please him because now his hands started to wander all over my body. I don't know why I won't stop him but I do know that my face is starting to turn super red.' I get pulled from that thought when I hear a laughing shadow dragon slayer.
"S-sorry Lucy" He said while gripping his stomach in his fit of laughter.
"What's so funny!" I yell with a tomato-like face which was most likely the cause of his laughter.
"You're so red" He points at my face as he starts to calm his laughter.
"You did it!" I pout.
"Yes. But you let me..." He says with a confident looking smirk. I look away and stand up before walking to the stairs.
"Well thanks to you I have to change my underwear." 
"Why? Did you pee yourself?" He asks with his head cocked to the side.
"No..." I say before dashing up the stairs to change once again.

Rogue P.O.V
'Why does she need to chan- oh...oops' I think as I turn a bright shade of red. 'I didn't mean to do that to her, I also wasn't intending on stopping like that but I didn't want our first time to be on a couch in the living room.' I come out of my thoughts to see Lucy coming down the stairs in a whole new outfit.
"Sorry Lucy.." I say as I scratch the back of my head.
"I-it's fine, let's just go to the guild." She says before grabbing my hand and walking out the door with me. 

On our way to the guild, I look down at her and smile a little which seemed to catch her eye since she looks back up at me.
"Sorry I wasn't trying to stare.." I say before turning my head away.
"Why did you do what you did in the apartment?" She asks suddenly.
"Mating season is coming soon I guess" I say as we walk up to the guild doors.
"Mating season?"
"Well yeah, after a certain age dragons or dragon slayers feel the need to mate. This is the year for Sting and I." I was about to push the doors open, but she stops my arms.
"How do you  pick a mate?" 
"Our dragon instincts take over, it's supposed to look deep into our hearts to find the one we care about most."
"But what if that person doesn't feel the same?"
"Well then I hope they know how to fend off against a dragon or a dragon slayer." I say with a slight chuckle before opening the doors and dragging the dumbfounded blonde through the doors to find everyone gathering around the guild stage where Jiemma was about to speak.
"THE GAMES ARE COMING UP SOON AND I WANT TO BE EXTRA PREPARED TO WIN, SO I'VE CHOSEN 6 STRONG MAGES TO REPRESENT US. WHEN I CALL YOUR NAME I WANT YOU UP HERE, STING, ROGUE, RUFUS, MINERVA, ORGA, AND LUCY" He yells as we all climb onto the stage together. From up there we could see a sulking Yukino behind the bar and a cheering guild in front of us. "YOU WILL HAVE 3 MONTHS TO TRAIN, DO NOT FAIL ME" He adds before pointing at the door as a sign for us to hurry up and leave. Right away Lucy, Sting and I ran out the guild with the exceeds following close behind.
"Where do you wanna train this year?" I ask no one in particular
"That depends, do you wanna bug some fairies or do you wanna go somewhere private" Lucy asks.
"Private." Sting says seductively.
"The beach it is" She says with a disgusted look on her face.
