Chapter 3: Mission Worth Dying For

Lucy P.O.V
After a long and miserable train ride we finally got off at the station in a town near the mountains and luckily we get to walk the rest of the way, but first I have to stop and talk to the town's mayor to see why this is so urgent. After about 10 minutes of walking we reached the mayors house and were stopped at the gate by his guards.
"Who are you? State your business!" The guard boldly said which annoyed me.
"I'm the S-Class Fairy Tail mage and I've brought some help from the twin slayers from Sabertooth." I show him my hand and it seemed to be enough for him to let us past. We walked into the huge mansion's foyer where a maid agreed to take us to the worried mayor. As we walk into his office he immediately looks me up and down with a seductive look in his eyes.

"Well hello there, you must be the S-Class mage here to help me. Must I say how absolutely beautiful you look." He steps closer and I raise my hand telling him not to come closer.
"Sorry I'm not interested in rich bastards who can't defend themselves." I say bluntly which makes him gulp nervously.
"Well um...I need you to defeat these monsters. They are terrorizing all parts of the town and have injured most of my civilians. Please make it quick will ya?" He says and I just nod before leaving the room to head out the door.

Sting P.O.V
'I will admit that I was about to kick that guys ass for coming onto Blondie like that, it's not that I like her or anything because I like Yukino. It was just the principle that he would come on to her like that like WHAT THE FUCK!' I am pulled out of my thoughts by a very pissed off looking Rogue pulling me down the corridor with him and Blondie. Deep down I was wondering if it had something to do with that sleezy mayor, but I know Rogue isn't really the type to care for another person like that. I pulled myself out of his grasp and made us stop so that Blondie could get further ahead of us so I could talk with him. 
"Oi Rogue? Why you so pissed all of a sudden?"
"No reason, that's just my face..."
"No your face usually looks like this." I put on a serious face that seems emotionless.
"Oh shut up! You wouldn't understand anyway." He says as he storms off to catch up to Blondie. I chuckle to myself and quietly mutter "He liiiiikkkkkeeeess her..."

Rogue P.O.V

'Sting wouldn't understand, sure I have a thing for Lucy but I don't want anyone to know about it..' I glance over at her face which didn't seem to have any kind of emotion on it at all well except for determination. 'I wonder if she would return my feelings if I confessed?' I shake the thought out of my head as we begin to climb up the mountain. It got kind of cold but it didn't seem to bother any of us very much. We walked for another 5 minutes before I huge snowball gets thrown our way with two huge monsters behind it. We all dodged and through our separate roars at them making them disappear. 
"This won't be easy will it?" I hear Sting ask from behind Lucy and I.
"No..." Lucy and I said in unison.
"But this is a job we have to complete, for the sake of the village we can't fail. I would rather die than fail..." Lucy said which cause Sting and I to nod in agreement.
