Leaving The Past Behind

Chapter 4: 2 Months Later

Lucy P.O.V
We have finally finished off the last monster and as he disappears I feel weak and I see the boys feel the same. They collapse and start to sleep and I start to set up camp right where we stand. 'I can't believe we survived this, I think what drove me to fight the most was the fact that I was fighting along side my new found friends.' I look over at the sleeping boys and smile to myself before crawling in between the two boys to get some warmth for sleep.

*Time Skip: 6 hours later*

I woke up first and tried to move but Rogue's arm was holding me close to his body. For some reason I couldn't find it in my heart to hit him so I just laid down on his chest.
"You know we have to go collect our reward now right?" I asked no one in particular
"Yes I know, but you're warm and I don't feel like moving..." I looked up at the face of the shadow dragon slayer who was smiling down at me. I sat up and kissed his cheek before getting out of his grasp and packing up the camp site. He helped me and we let Sting sleep a little longer so we could talk a little.
"Just so you know, I wasn't awake when I grabbed hold of you. I must've gotten cold in my sleep and found you warm. I woke up and decided not to let go.." He blushed a little which made me blush too.
"It's o-okay I was probably cold anyway.." I stutter a bit
"Why didn't you move when you woke up?"
"You seemed cold and I thought you were still sleeping." He nods as if that made sense and we notice that Sting begins to wake up.
"Hey, time to go already?" Sting asks while rubbing his eyes tiredly.
"Yep, lets go." I say and they nod before grabbing all the stuff and leaving nothing for me to hold. Apart of me was happy they grabbed everything, but I felt a little bad. I let it go though because I knew they wouldn't allow me to carry anything.

Rogue P.O.V
Sting and I walked ahead of Lucy and then I remembered what she told us a while ago. I let Sting walk ahead and let Lucy catch up to me. 
"Have you decided whether or not you're going to leave Fairy Tail?" I ask her and she looks down at her feet.
"I have..."
"And?"
"If Sabertooth will have me, I'd like to join your guild..." She says before looking up into my eyes and I couldn't help but to smile slightly.
"Of course, there shouldn't be any issue with you joining. Master will be pleased to have an S-Class mage in his guild." I said which made her smile back. 
"Well I guess it's time, lets go collect the reward money of 4,000,000J!" She says with excitement in her voice.

*Time Skip: To Mansion*

We collected our reward and split it evenly before getting to the train station and buying our separate tickets. Lucy was going to go leave her guild and Sting in I have to explain to master everything that went on in the 2 months that we disappeared. Lucy seemed a little sad that we had to soon part ways but I think she was mostly upset because she had to stay on the train a hell of a lot longer than we did. Motion sickness can be very unforgiving to a dragon slayer's soul.
