I felt the drop of blood run down my cheek, like a tear.

Then, something walked out its dark corner. It was a woman in a short, red, sleeveless turtleneck dress with her black hair tied up in a bun. She looked at us with a convincing grin as she drew her long, curved sword. "Who are you?" June said. The woman replied with another sinister smile as she took a few steps forward. She paused, somehow making us feel the sort of terrible suspense as her first attack.

June slowly backed away, and pulled our only means of defense out of the wall. Immediately, a voice came into my head. What the hell are we supposed to defend ourselves with!? Our wet shoes? Your jacket? TELL me, June. Such resourcefulness (I must be going insane). The woman edged closer, and took an unexpected swipe at June with her sword.

June barely dodged her blade, and dug the knife into her shoulder. But she wasn't bleeding from a cut that severe...

I could hear the very faint sound of mechanical joints moving up and down, and sparks of electricity. The woman grabbed the handle of the knife and pulled it out as if it were a splinter. Oh crap. Michael tried to take action, only to find out he couldn't move for some reason. Must be something Yeni did...

I stood up on my wet shoes, and felt like I was standing on sponges. Very wet sponges... Drip drip drop... It's that voice in my head again (okay, now its getting annoying). It could work at the right moment. The woman came at all three of us with her katana, this time a lot faster and harder. She ran at Michael, but she tricked me and turned to my direction.

It was me she wanted. I tried to block her blade with June's jacket, but she sliced right through. She made a deep cut through my side and watched me bleed on the floor. The pain made getting beat up look like nothing. I lay there, in a pool of my own blood, as I saw June crying on the floor, hopeless. The woman took her katana, and was going to kill her in front of me.

Everything was in slow motion. I shouted, I stumbled, I limped. Suddenly, I found myself stopping the blade with my bloody hands. "Andrew..." June said, her voice almost inaudible. Everything went silent.

Hey Sorry for the short chapter I had summer homework (×_×;)
