Everything went silent.
--------------------------------------------
The woman stared at me blankly, her gray eyes sent chills down my spine. Blood from my hands dripped to the floor, the only thing that I could hear in this silence.

I couldn't take it anymore. I pulled the blade away from her hands, and dug it into her head.  Sparks flew as she twitched and stumbled backwards. But she wasn't done yet. The woman pulled the katana out of her skull and dropped it on the floor. She smirked once again, her gray eyes darkened. She looked more menacing than before.

I stepped backward, my heart beat was so fast it was overwhelming. I glanced at June and Michael, they were feeling just as worried as I was. When I noticed, my wound from earlier didn't really hurt anymore... It must be the adrenaline that kicked in earlier. All of a sudden, the woman ran at me, and it soon turned into a fight. She pinned me down on the floor, and then took the knife and tried to stab me as tried to hold it back.

The blade was inching closer... and closer... Until... She stopped. She collapsed on the floor, motionless.

I looked up, and June was standing there, with the katana in her trembling hands. And to my surprise, I saw Michael standing behind her with a gleaming smile on his face. I guess they saved my butt again. ._.

"Guess she's not a problem anymore, huh?" Michael said. "How did you..." I trailed off as I stood up. "Don't worry about it." He answered. The moment I stood up, the wound from earlier instantly started to hurt again, causing me to wince in pain. "Oh yeah, that's still there..." I said to myself as I took off my sweater and wrapped it around my waist.

"We'll worry about that later, but now, we have to figure out how to get out of here..." June said.
