Rachels pov:
" I want you to know though that I still love you and me leaving had nothing to do with you or your mom. I wasn't good for either of you and your mother and I had problems of our own . I am not asking for you to forgive me because I know I don't deserve it . But if you ever need anything please don't be a stranger .

Dad."

I couldn't stop reading that part of my fathers letter . How could he write that and still leave? I needed answers but my mom and Finn would never let go to find them. Unless I didn't tell them . I smirked as I got my suitcase out and started to pack. I finished packing when there was a knock on my door.

"One minute!" I yelled and I opened my window. Putting my suitcase into the bushes. "Come in!" I said and the door opened it was my mom.

"Hey honey." She said coming in.

"Mom, hey." I said.

"So what are you up too?" She asked me.

"Nothing much just chilling." I said doing my best to lie.

"Hey whats that?" She asked me talking about my fathers letter.

"Nothing!" I said trying to get it but she grabbed it and started to read it .

"Your dad wrote you?" She asked me shocked.

"Yeah." I said.

"When?" She asked me.

I sat down and put my hand on hers.

"A couple months ago, I didn't wanna tell you because you had finally seemed okay, we were finally okay and to mess that up would be horrible." I told her.

"Why didn't you tell me?' She asked upset.

"I didn't want you to feel upset or be hurt." I said.

"Rachel I am your mother I have the right to know!" She yelled.

"Why so you can ruin my chances of seeing him again?" I said rudely.

"Excuse you?" She said.

"You pushed dad away mom, you made him leave and you pushed him away from me." I said angrily.

"Your father left you , left us!" She yelled.

"No he left you, he was just to stupid to not bring me along." I said angrily.

"Thats it you're grounded." She said.

"No I need to see him!" I yelled .

"No I forbid it!" She yelled at me and stormed out slamming my door.

I was so angry at her I screamed in my pillow . Then I took out my money and put it in my back pocket. I needed to go but I couldn't leave without a note so I sat down and wrote one,

"Dear Mom,
By the time you read this I will be on a plane to see dad. I know you're angry at me but I have to see him, I have to find out why he left us. I'm sorry about what I said , I didn't mean it . I just need to find him. I'll be back soon .

Rachel."

I finished signing my name and I left the note on my desk wrote down my fathers address and climbed out the window and left.

(Airport)
I sat in the airplane waiting for it to board when Finn called me,

"Hello?" I said.

"Rachel where are you ? Your mom called me freaking out saying you wrote her a note and you're going to find your dad." He said.

"Finn my dad wrote me a letter a few months ago. I need answers and the only way I'm going to get them is if I see him." I said.

"Rachel just come home." He told me.

"I can't it's too late." I said.

"Ma'am please turn your phone off the plane is about to take flight." The flight attendant told me.

"Sorry." I said ,"Finn I love you but I have to go." I said.

"But Rachel." He said.

"I'm sorry , I love you." I said and hung up.
