I didn't know what to do; I had grown so accustomed to messaging Nicole that now when I want to, I can't.
I wanted- no, I needed to understand what I've done to make her feel this way. Nobody deserves to feel unwanted, especially her.
"Try to call Katie, maybe she'll entertain you." Calum suggests, pausing GTA 5.
"I tried, both her and Jennifer. They're phones went straight to voicemail for some reason." I respond with a long sigh.
"I don't know what to tell you, man." I shrug and get up.
"It's getting late, I'm going to hit the sack." I mumble before shuffling off into my bedroom.
After changing into a clean pair of boxers, I crawl into bed and check my phone once more. Still nothing.
I flip over on my side, didn't get sleepy.
I turned on my back, still didn't get sleepy.
I laid on my stomach, absolutely no signs of sleep.
Finally, I just grab my phone and unlock it to see a text from Nicole. I sit up quickly and turn on my lamp before reading her message.
In Text Messages:
My-cole: hey...
Me: hey
My-cole: how are you?
Me: I'm alright, wbu?
My-cole: pretty nervous.
Me: why?
My-cole: because I know I'm a pretty messed up person and I tell you to leave me alone yet here I am talking to you because for some reason I found myself really missing you today and I don't want to feel like that.
Me: why not? I missed you too Nic :-)
My-cole: I don't want to get hurt. I'm not going to explain it right now, but someday I'll tell you why I am the way I am.
Me: I promise you, I swear, I would never hurt you Nicole. Never ever.
My-cole: I know, that's why I'm asking if we can be friends. I trust you.
Me: we already were friends silly
My-cole: you know what I mean -_-"
Me: lol I know c:
Me: of course we can be friends (:
My-cole: good!
My-cole: well goodnight buddy
Me: goodnight pal :3
A/N:
Short update BC why not. (No, BC Nicole and Katie keep updating at the same time and i gotta be the "updater cool author ontop of my shit" too.)
Anyways, I've finally moved into the new house and now we're just waiting for wifi and tv. Hurray.
