I awaken to the sound of a voice, a familiar one that I can't seem to make out. I don't know where I am or what happened after I stepped out of my house. The more I think about it the more scared I become. My body is suddenly overcome with fear of what might have happened, the mere thought of it makes me tremble to the core. I have to get out of here, I can't stay, I don't know what would happen if I did. I pick myself up off the ground and look around for an exit but all I see is an empty room with no doors or windows. My fear begins to consume all of my thoughts and I start to panic, my eyes begin to water and I fall to the ground exploding into tears. This is how i'm going to die, isn't it? The voice I heard is getting closer, it sounds like another person showed up as well. I begin to tremble with anticipation. I squeeze my eyes shut and at the same time the wall begins to divide, creating a way in. My heart's racing, i can hear it beating ever so fast, even with their footsteps pounding with each step they take. As I hear their footsteps come to a halt, I open my eyes and a hand grabs my chin, pushing it upward. My eyes widen in shock as the faces comes to view; It's Alex, and the person beside her is her mom.
"I know what you're feeling, there is no need to be afraid Maddy," Alex says in gentle tone as I back away. "I won't hurt you all we need to do is talk."
My head starts spinning, and my heart skips a beat after what she says. Even with her words spoken with such gentleness I can't help but tremble in fear at what it is that is needed to be discussed.
"Now Maddy, I can tell you won't participate at your own will so I will have to take back what I said before. We will be using force to get you to take our test to prove our theory." Alex says with a sigh and a hand signal directed at the door.
A moment later two men come rushing in and put handcuffs on me, I protest in anger but they are too strong for me to fight back. After they have put the handcuffs on they hurry and take me into a new room with only a seat and one way glass directly in front of it. I am thrown into the seat and strapped onto it. After i'm tightly secured they attach some kind of head gear onto my head with wires that flow into the ceiling. Once they left the room the lights turn off and a spotlight shines on the chair and a speaker turns on allowing me to hear what is being told to me behind the glass.
"Now Maddy, I truly am sorry i had to use force, but I was positive you wouldn't agree to the test." Alex says in a evil manner as light from the head gear begins to flash.
I close my eyes not knowing what to expect, afraid that I'd get hurt. A moment later I start to feel dizzy and my head falls to the side as I fall into a dream state. When I wake up I'm not in the same place, I'm chained to a bed in a room that looks like a jail cell. When I go to speak nothing comes out, my throat feels like it has a thousands little needles stabbing at it. I twitch in pain just to realize that my wrists are hurt as well. When I take a look it appears that it's not just my throat and arms but it's my whole body. I feel tears in my eyes just as a person stomps over to my cell. They don't look like a human, in fact they look like a demon. Something that you'd see in a horror movie, or pictures about hell and Satan. I push myself further towards the back of the bed as the demon begins to open what is now my new room...
