"Mr. Rin, if you block [Y/N]'s way anymore than that, we're gonna make you regret you even set foot on this islet!" I see. Shiroya and Ran think Rindoh's purpose was just to attack the Summer Village.
"I wasn't trying to get in your way. I was just answering their questions. I have no intent to hinder them. Well, it would be nice if you could wait a little longer for the Drop of Fire to get polluted some more."
"What do you mean by that?" I ask.
I don't get it... What is Rindoh trying to do?
"The more negative energy the Sword absorbs with purification, the more it would eat the life of [Y/N]'s away."
"My life...?"
"Hey, Mr. Rin... What do you have to do with [Y/N]'s life?" Kaito asks.
"You still don't get it?" Rindoh narrows his eyes making a wry grin. "My wish is for [Y/N] to die." I feel like I'm knocked off my feet. I don't know how long I've been standing there, unable to say anything... The others... Kaito, Kikyo, Shiroya, and Ran... are also at a loss for words, just staring at Rindoh.
"Rindoh... your wish is to kill me?" Why is it... Rindoh!?
"You know, I could kill you in the blink of an eye, [Y/N]. I know. But, there's a great difference between us, right? I'm a man, and [Y/N] is a girl. "I won't!... do such a BORING thing. I want you to suffer a lot before you die, [Y/N]." The malice Rindoh bears toward me squeezes my chest.
What an ominous atmosphere of menace... He really desires me to die.
"Plus, if [Y/N] just dies by my hands or by some other guy killing her, this island will be destroyed. I'm not interested in the future of Yamato Island any bit, but isn't it a pain in the butt to have to escape from an island that's collapsing to pieces? So, as the curse says, I want Kaito to kill [Y/N] with the Sword of the Gathering Clouds of Heaven. Then you can save the island and fulfill my wish at the same time. What an amazing happy ending!"
"Stop messing around! What a happy ending? It won't save anyone!!"
"Kaito is right! Why does [Y/N] have to die just for your sake, Rindoh!?" Kikyo says loudly.
