Deanne's Apartment
3:32 P.M.
Aderyn's POV
"I can't believe he was such an-ugh what has panties in such a right bun he can't even-argh. Brady you have to believe me." I spat out all at once.
"I do, Whose turn is is?" Brady looked up from his Apples-to-Apples hand to notion towards Valery to judge. " Listen Addy, I love you, you know that. I think your just miss-interpreting things."
"How can I-
Brady cut me off."I have him second period for pre-calculus and he was really chill. Maybe he was tired, or maybe you shouldn't have been passing notes."
"I know I shouldn't have but he was so rude. Valery why are you cracking up?" The girl sitting to my left couldn't bring air into her lungs as she chose the winning for this match.
"The Green card was Insightful." Tears streamed down her face as she smiled
"Yeah." Deanne was a competitive player and wanted to know the winner
"And someone put 'Hellen Keller'" Valery could bearly belt out the words as Brady smugly grabbed the Green card and put it in his pile.
"Awe, you kids are no fun. That wasn't even a match." Deanne set her cards down and went into the kitchen, leaving the game out of poor sport.
"We know, it was just funny." Valery put in
"Wait, what should I do?"
Deanne was the only motherly figure I had"Honey, he probably doesn't want to be a teacher. that's why he's so resentful."
"He is the Basketball coach." Brady informed
"All I'm saying is maybe he's pushing everyone away because he has other passions." Deanne grabbed a plate of cookies and set it down for us to eat
"Yeah, maybe." I still wasn't convinced that a human could completely disregard another's feelings.
"Arfragintakapafy?" Brady asked cookie falling out of his mouth as he did so.
"Swallow, practice for prison now." Valery patted his back while Brady prepared himself to repeat himself. Only after giving Valery a dirty look once realizing what she had said.
"Are you going to the party?"
"I don't know." I honestly hadn't thought about it "It seems like it would only be football players and cheerleaders."
"Lucas is a Baseball player." Valery informed me-of course she'd know
"Sill...only if you guys went with me."
"I'm in." Brady grabbed another cookie
"As long as I can bring a date" Valery answered
"Than its settled," We all grabbed another red card and continued after Deanne regained her temper "And afterwards we can find out what makes Mr. Wright Mr. Wrong."
