I glared at my laptop. A major headache had set in my head. I groaned at the floor while closing my laptop. A cup of coffee should help.

I took the stairs two at a time to the kitchen. I started brewing the coffee. I want Katherine to be making this. I wanted her coffee, her cooking, her hot chocolate. Ugh, this is weird.

The door opened and Rivin came in, grinning like an idiot. He noticed me and ran into the kitchen. Slipping on a rug he spun a little before slamming onto the ground.

"Ouch," he groaned.

"Welcome home, my graceful ballerina," I said. He glared a little, before jumping back onto his feet.

"Kirrrrt! Guess what? Guess what? Guess what?" he said, dancing in a circle around me.

"You're secretly a four year old in disguise?" I asked.

"Maybe, but that's not it," he said.

"You got laid?" I asked. He raised an eyebrow.

"Nooo, but that's closer, I guess?"

"I give up, what is it?"

"Katie agreed to be my girlfriend," he sang.

"I thought she was already your girlfriend?" He frowned, making me chuckle. I poured him a cup of coffee as well, and the two of us walked up the stairs to my room. We sat down on my bed.

"So, what'd you do today?" he asked, "You came home early and locked yourself up in your room." What had I done today? Well, Rivin, I kissed a random person named Katherine Bell for no real reason. Should I tell you that?

"I just felt like it," I said.

"Felt like it? You've never left work early before," he said.

"I said it was nothing," I growled.

"C'mon, Kirt, you can tell me," he said. I snapped.

"Shut up, Rivin! Can't you get that I don't want to talk about it?" I barked. He was silent for a moment, before bursting out laughing.

"What's so funny?" I mumbled.

"You-you sprayed coffee, like, all over your laptop, ha ha ha ha ha!" I looked down at my laptop, indeed coffee was all over it. I rolled my eyes.

"C'mon man, what happened?" I sighed, leave it to Rivin to make me break.

"I kissed someone," I said, so quietly I wasn't entirely sure the words came out of my mouth. Rivin stared at me for a bit.

"Sooo, that's it?" I nodded.

"I'm pretty sure, you've kissed someone before," he said, scratching his head awkwardly.

"It's different this time," I mumbled.

"Okay," he said, "Who was it?"

"Katherine Bell."

"And that is?"

"An employee at a company that I made a business deal with. She manages an anti virus software we bought from within my office."

"And the problem is?"

"I don't know why I did it."

"I kinda thought it was sorta self explanatory. You kiss people because you like them." I stayed silent. You kiss people because you like them. I already knew that, but...

"Well, if that's it, I'll be leaving." Rivin got up and left the room, giving me a concerned look before shutting the door. So, I like Katherine?
