Slamming the door, he approached me with sinister eyes.

-

''Get away from me'' I whispered, keeping my guard steady, refusing to show him any sign of weakness.
''Its okay Brianna'' He cooed. He stroked my left cheek with the back of his fingers as his breath hit off my face.
I could feel the pinch at the back of my eyes signalling tears were threatening to surface.
''Why are you d-d-doing this?'' I questioned. The smell of fear submerged the air around us as I began to stumble on my words.
He itched himself closer to me, keeping his grip on my face. His thick brown eyebrows were raised high as he licked the bottom of his lips as if I was his prey ready to eat.
Whipping my head away from his firm grasp, I positioned myself further away from him.
His dark eyes bulged out whilst his eyebrows united as one as they furrowed together. This resembled the fact that I should not have committed such actions and I was soon going to pay for doing so.
I felt my heart freeze at that particular beat and my bottom lip quiver with a great deal of trepidation. The entire room was silent, just the continuous sound of Alexs' heartbeat and his irregular heavy breathing patterns echoed within the room.
Closing my eyes shut letting the stream of tears to fall down my face freely, I internally called out for dad in hopes he would be able to take me away from this man.
''N-no'' I begged. ''Please'' The sound of his breathing grew louder and I found myself pressed up against the wall with no escape.
Just then, as if all my prayers were being fulfilled, the sudden sound of the doorbell permeated the entire house with my mothers voice following soon after.
''Bree! Honey, can you answer the door please?'' She sounded so cheerful, completely oblivious to what was about to go down a wall away from where she was situated.
Sucking in the air, filling my lungs of the free substance, I wiped my damp face with the sleeve of my shirt. Refusing to even look at Alex I shoulder thumped him out of my way as I felt his eyes bore into my back. I walked down the hallway before inhaling once more and opening the door.
I blinked away the dust particles as the gust of wind immediately came in contact with my face.
Finally getting my vision to clear view, my breathing suddenly hitched.
There stood Justin.

The bitter breeze swayed through his brown locks and both hands were shoved into the front of his pocket, leaving his thumbs out. His shirt was slightly stained due to our earlier mishappening, yet he looked so breathtakingly flawless. He clenched his jaw and shuffled in his position before opening his mouth to say something.

''Br..''
''Just..''
I mentally slapped myself for even considering to open my mouth. We stared at eachother for a split second before looking away.
Me standing in pure embarrassment left Justin laughing quietly to himself.
''What do you want?'' I questioned ripping him out of his laughter and mantaining my stern voice.
His expression suddenly fell; his lips slightly pulled down from both ends and his humoured eyes suddenly glazing, emphasizing his chocolatey depths.
''How did you know I live here?'' I threw him another question not even bothering to allow him to answer my first.

Justin-

After accidentally bumping into her and spilling her coffee everywhere, I initially insisted on offering to buy her another one until Maxine appeared.
What was I even doing with her?
I mean, I seen her snogging the guy from my English class implying her tendency to hook up with any and every guy she set her eyes on. I wanted to escape and lose my previous reputation of playing around with girls but I guess that wasn't happening as one individual already hated me.
Bree.
She was mesmerising.
The way her cinnamon coloured hair naturally fell over her shoulders down to her ribs. Not an ounce of make-up was smothered on her face exposing her true inner self. Her distinct style left me in great awe as she particularly stood out amongst the rest of the girls who enjoyed to put their entire body on show.
One thing I knew for sure.
She was different.
I couldn't seem to distance myself from her, yet I managed to make a fool of myself whenever I was in her presence. She seemed to carry a secretive vibe with her, always keeping her guard up, staying out of everyones way, not even bothering to communicate with any individual. She seemed busy- like her mind was somewhere else and all that was left was her physical body; this may have been the reason for the plum coloured circles that lay just beneath her eyes, eyes that were light honey and obtained a mysterious glow. All this intrigued me further and I demanded to begin some sort of relationship with her.
How did I end up on her doorstep you ask?
Considering it was impossible to deprive myself of her, I followed her home from starbucks. I cant  say I was used to this, I mean usually all the girls practically threw themselves at me and I had a range to choose from, this further speculated the feeling of confusion, as of right now, I was doing all the running and I couldn't seem to stop.

Bree-

I watched as he looked like he was in deep thought.
I craved to know what he was thinking but his facial expression remained blank.
I guess we both had something in common.
We were good at covering our thoughts.
''Bree, whos at the door?'' My mothers voice bought both Justin and I out of our immersed thoughts as she stood behind, watching me playfully. ''Who is this honey?'' She questioned once she caught sight of who stood before me.
''I'm Justin, nice to meet you Miss?...'' He offered his hand out.
I smirked at his politeness. Who knew the new kid had manners? Then again, I'm sure he was able to whoo any female over purely by smiling at them.
''...Byran, but please, call me Sarah.'' My mom tucked her table cloth in the front pocket of her pink dotted apron before joining her right hand with Justins, both smiling at each other whilst shaking hands.
''He was just leav..''
''Justin, would you like to stay for dinner? Its Brees favourite, roast chicken'' mom squealed still maintaining her professional vibe.
Almost instantly my face dropped. I sent him an exasperated look, hoping he would turn down my moms offer. The thought of him sitting around the table with Alex instantly grew fear in me. He was truly capable of anything and being the back minded individual he is meant anyone who was fit enough to take his personal sex slave away from him he would destroy.
Meeting my eyes, Justin understood what I was attempting to put across. He looked deep into my eyes as if looking for any answers that may be the reason as why I didn't want him to enter my home.
''Thank you for the offer but I'm expected home'' he flashed a wam sincere smile, at the same time I threw him one in thanks.
''Thats fine Justin but feel free to come whenever you wish'' mom shaked his hand once more before disappearing into the kitchen to plate our food.
''Bree'' he breathed out. ''I'm sorry.''
I looked up at him confusingly.
''No, I'm sorry, I'll pay for your dry cleaning just send me the bill'' I stated monotonously referring to our earlier mishappening back at the coffee shop.
''No. Bree'' He interjected.
From the corner of my eye I could sense Alex. My body instantly tensed up as he shot me a glare dictating for me to join him at the dinner table and send whoever it was away.
Looking up at Justin once more, I swallowed the ball that had formed in my throat.
''Hey, are you okay?'' Noticing my awkward posture, he looked down at me with saddened and flustered eyes.
''You need to leave Justin.'' I whispered. ''Now.'' I closed the door on him, before leaning back against it and letting out a deep, frustrated sigh.

I entered the dining room where the smell off food grew stronger.
Around the large dinner table lay 4 chairs, one on every length of the rectangular shaped surface.
Mom would sit on one end, whilst Alex would sit on the opposite with me in between, if Justin joined us, mom would've placed him opposite me. I knew by the way she looked at the both of us she thought something was going on. I scoffed at the thought. How desperate she was for me to find a man for myself, she considered her and Alex' relationship ideal and always hoped for me to find a similar one to theres.
I watched her place each of the chicken pieces onto 3 individual plates. Before Alex moved in, she had a tendency to prepare a third plate for dad, always forgetting he was no longer with us however now we had Alex. In the centre of the table lay 2 bowls, 1 containing garlic potatoes and another with steamy green vegetables to accompany our chicken.
I moved further into the room before placing myself on my chair as well as mom and Alex.
Alex watched my every move, it was evident whoever was at the door circulated his mind and I knew this would only aggravate him further, emotions of which he would lash out on me- me being his personal punching bag.
I closed my heavy eyelids preparing myself for the agonozing hour of family dinner time.
-

I was the first to leave the table after disposing my untouched food.
I trudged up the stairs wanting nothing more then to feel the warmth of my sheets. Opening the door, I began to gather my things necessary for a quick shower before entering the restroom and allowing the warm droplets to soak my body.
I left the shower not bothering to dry my hair, instead heading straight for bed. since it was now 10: 03pm As I fell back onto my pillow, I could feel my heavy eyelids close allowing me to drift off into a deep slumber.
PING!
The annoyingly frustrating sound coming from my phone awoke me, depriving me of my already lost sleep.
1 new message.
I wiped my eyes of any sleep and opened up the surprisngly new message.
'Hey Bree, its me Justin.'
