I woke up feeling my eyelids naturally meet once again.
I barely got any sleep last night.
Justin now knew where I lived as well as my number in the matter of a few hours.
As if I didn't have enough going on right now, him adding to that didn't help matters any further.
Giving out a large yawn and stretching out my arms, I dangled my feet off my bed, before twisting my ankles. It was as if my entire was body was in sleep mode and I was the bad cop, forcing it to wake up.
I slipped into my fuzzy slippers, allowing its warm embrace to conceal my feet.
Although I had a shower prior to a couple of hours earlier, the disgusting feeling I was familiar with began to erupt within me which only meant I had to give myself yet another deep cleanse that would last me a few hours of feeling fresh and comfortable.Deciding on an acid washed denim skater skirt, grey cotton tights, a white sleeveless shirt and a maroon leather jacket, I blow dried my brown hair, plaiting it to the right side where it would conceal the bruises on my neck and slipping on a burgundy beanie.
Considering it was only 7: 30, I decided to apply a coating of mascara to complete the look complementary to the weather outside. The suns rays bought the town happiness and contentment, yet I could sense the bitterness that threatened to brim the atmosphere soon enough.
I smiled at my reflection now that the butterscotch colour that flooded my eyes had now disappeared and had now returned to their usual depths. It wasn't as if anyone noticed but I felt self conscious when my eyes would change colour and the questions that could potentially surpass.
I wasn't really behind in any of my classes therefore there would be no actual reason to go into school early, yet i decided on it anyway.
Slipping on my white converse, I tiptoed down the stairs reluctant on catching any unwanted attention.
I decided to skateboard to school again and engage with the happy weather.
Going down the all too familiar pathway, I instantly noticed the gut wrenching scene that ruined the beautiful summery day.
Justin and Maxine.
There they were.
Sitting on the parks bench.
Locked in each others embrace whilst their tongues slid down their throats.
I mentally thanked the lord for allowing me to make the right decision and not go into Starbucks for a coffee. If I had breakfast this morning, I would definitley be barfing at my feet right now.
Picking up my pace, I made my way down the gravel acting oblivious to what was happening before my very own eyes yet I couldn't help but listen to the whisper of a conversation Justin was having with Maxine. It was apparent that the infamous soccer player Thomas Dean was throwing a huge party that would no doubt go down in history. It seemed as if Justin didn't want to go but Maxine being the persuasive person she is managed to change his mind in the matter of a few seconds.
Thomas' party would most likely include gallons of alcohol, explicit tunes and strippers.
Who am I kidding?
It was definitely including all this.
He had a rough past with Maxine which was probably the reason why she became a selfish, vain, bitchy and self centred girl who automatically threw herself at every individual with a penis. If I could recall, I was pretty sure he cheated on her with her arch nemesis Eleanor who transferred schools after her dad- who was now the CEO of some major company- got a promotion.
I was fully aware I wasn't attending this party and whether or not being invited, never in a million years did I intend on going.Justin-
After waiting 2 hours for Bree to reply to my text, I eventually relented and decided on leaving for school early the next day to meet up with her.
She couldn't decline my physical self could she?
Leaving the household just before 7: 30, I decided to walk down the familiar pathway rather then taking my car as the weather was so beautiful. I had no idea what I was planning on saying yet I knew I had so much to say.
Why did she hate me so much?
Why was she acting so weird yesterday?
How come she was so private and refused to make any friends? What was she hiding?
She carried a suspicious aura with her that I couldn't exactly put my finger on but I vowed to find out what made her the intriguing character she was today.
Just as I was about to cross the road, the all too familiar silver convertible appeared before me, belonging to the one and only Maxine. Her girlish squeal instantly filled my ears and I knew she expected me to acknowledge her presence and enter her car.
''Justy!'' - she shrieked.
I inhaled, preparing myself for an uncomfortable journey. ''Hey''- I whispered, before looking at her up and down taking in her appearance. I fought the urge to bite my lip and satisfy her but I ended up doing so anyway.
She wore a skin tight black leather skirt that concealed a quarter of her tanned thighs. Her pierced bellybutton was exposed due to her thin crop top that also revealed a large proportion of her chest. Considering I wasn't exactly serious about this girl, her dress sense didn't at all faze me. Her long blonde hair was paper straight, falling over each of her breasts as well as her lips being smothered with red matt lipstick. Her thick layers of foundation were visible under the sun and her eyes were concealed due to the deep depths of mascara, eyeliner and eye shadow.
Fake was most definitely the word that defined her. If she were 100% mine, never in a million years would I approve of such a disgusting look and never would I allow her to expose so much skin to any male individual.
