We both stood there, locked in each others bodies, admiring the comfortable silence that lingered amongst us. Justin's arms were securely wrapped around my waist allowing my arms to snake its way around his neck; arching his back inwards to shorten his height, I felt him smile into my neck.
'I'm sorry'' he gently murmured against my skin, his warm breath resulting in the hairs all over my body to stand on end.
I unwrapped myself from him, flashing him a cheesy smile. ''I forgive you Justin'' I happily spoke, noticing the fact that I wasn't acting or conveying a fake persona.
I was simply being me.
Interlacing our fingers, he began to pull me out of the bathroom, shutting the door behind us and sitting me on the couch.
''Do you want to go downstairs?'' he comfortingly asked.
I contemplated the idea, afraid that if Justin saw Matt again, their second battle would commence.
''You could meet them all'' he smiled, implying that nothing would happen and it was a one-off thing to argue with one another.
''Erm... Justin?'' I subtly opened my mouth. ''Promise, you won't hurt Matt'' I needed the confirmation that he would play safely.
He knelt down so we were on eye level before placing his hands over mine that were locked together.
''Its all going to be fine'' he soothed, a smile falling onto his lips before bringing my hand and standing me up. He opened the door and led the way.
Before I knew it the distinct sound of girlish chatter met my ears, seeming to be coming from the kitchen, Justin led me in with all eyes immediately falling onto us and the enthusiastic chatter suddenly dying.
''Wow guys, nice to see you're all up for making Bree here feel comfortable'' he sarcastically remarked.
''Justin'' I muttered under my breath so only he could hear. I shot him a glare before facing the rest of the 3 individuals that were in the kitchen, 2 of them sitting around the 8- seated dining table.
''Hey, I'm Brianna but I much rather prefer Bree'' I chuckled attempting to ease the attention.
Expecting further silence, one of the girls stood up. She was small and petite and obtained an 80's retro look. Her light chocolate hair was parted from the side falling over her shoulders in perfect curls whilst a red, and white polka dotted band lay in the centre. She wore a white dress, with netted sleeves and ballet flats to complete the look. All in all she looked like a girl from a magazine.
''I'm Belle'' she enthusiastically chirped pulling me into a hug. Her happiness seemed to be contagious and I found myself instantly smiling and relaxing. ''Wow Bree'' her voice was like velvet. ''You're so beautiful'' she complemented. I found myself flashing her a smile and shifting awkwardly in my position wondering how to respond considering I didn't exactly know how to take nice comments. ''Thank you, you're pretty too'' I honestly replied.
I found a piece of popcorn being thrown into my hair, brushing it out, I looked up finding it rather funny in comparison to being annoyed. ''Nice'' I replied to the second girl who was taller and less girly. Her hair was coal black with blue streaks layered amongst it, it was big and electric and that itself depicted the fact that she was a feisty girl who lived life to the fullest. She wore thick rimmed glasses and a checked top with simple denim shorts revealing the heavy tattoos that were scattered across her left arm and the smaller ones that were on the back of her leg.
