Bree-

I watched as the sun slowly awoke, rising up above its horizon.
Evidently it was now 6: 00am.
Ever since yesterdays events -which resulted in my unexpected encounter with Justin- going home was not an option. I decided to lounge on the parks bench that offered me a clear view of sunrise.
I didn't get any sleep. I simply couldn't.

Feeling dirty and pre-owned deprived me of vital hours of naptime which undoubtfully meant in order to be myself again, I would need to get home an give myself a thorough and vigorous cleanse.
I buried my face into my damp hands allowing my elbows to position themselves on my lap. I inhaled, filling my lungs before letting out a deep frustrated sigh and standing on both bare feet heading down the pathway that would lead me to my 'home.'

Standing outside my door, I peered through the windows, squinting my eyes for any traces of my mom or Alex. I couldn't handle my mothers questions that would bombard my brain as well as my space that I already lacked. Allowing an inwards sigh of relief, I pulled up the welcome mat that was placed adjacent to my front door and slid out the house key before fitting it into the lock and gradually opening the door.
I tiptoed through the small section of the corridor that led to the stairs coming across the familiar smell of caffeine. The sudden thoughts of Alex and his actions invaded my mind as the carpet stairs were lightly stained due to his desperate wants that resulted in me dropping my food.
I shook my head frantically wanting nothing more but to forget him and yesterdays experiences.

Lightly sprinting up the stairs I immediately entered my room and into the restroom craving for the cool, calm feeling of water to sensationalize my body once again.
Within the split second of entering the shower compartment, I felt free. I deeply rubbed my body- particularly my neck- as well as my hair and scalp to escape Alex' touch. I could feel the sting of pain shoot through my entire body reminding me of yesterdays later events when I accidentally bashed into Justin. I hadn't realized how hard his body was until after the feeling of sadness and anger slightly subsided and the feeling of physical pain took over.

Approximately spending 45 minutes in the restroom, I blow dried my hair keeping its natural waviness. I decided to tie it up into a high ponytail before accompanying it with an oversize black and white jersey that slid over my left shoulder and black leather pants. It was now 7; 24am giving me enough time to finish up my assignments; preparing my sheets and books, my mothers and Alex' conversation instantly met my ears implying they had now both awoke from their sleep; I pressed my ear and chest onto my bedroom door in an attempt to catch their quiet words.

''Bree didn't come home last night...'' my mothers voice was precise coated with a thick layer of happiness. ''I hope she's using protection with this Justin guy'' she squealed before letting out a high pitched giggle. I felt my chest tighten up at her assumption and my breathing spiral out of control. Never did I expect my mother to think like that of me no matter how much of a private person I was.
Walking up to my desk, I gathered my books, shoving them into my rucksack before slipping on my shoes and harshly yanking my door open.

They were both in their gowns with a confused and surprised expression falling onto my mothers face, and a twisted and sick emotion resembling Alex'. I met his dark eyes signalling for me to stop but before either of them were able to retaliate at my rough actions, I stormed down the stairs and left.
I fled down the pathway that would lead me to school not bothering to use my skateboard. Adjusting my rucksack onto my shoulder, I swept my hair back and unconsciously picked up my pace wanting nothing more then to be as far as I could, away from my household.

Sighing, I entered my English classroom meeting the familiar faces but  was still confused as to what their names were. I walked through the many students that gazed up at me before sitting myself at the back of the class. I mentally embraced myself for the upcoming 2hours of Romeo & Juliet.
