The Delinquent's First Love - Seventeen
"Jessica." I heard Mr. Cameron called me.
I turned to face him. "Mr. Cameron, what-" But then he pulled me inside a classroom. Classes were already over and the academic building was almost empty.
He pinned me to the wall, placing both of my hands behind me. "I heard around that you're in a relationship with the principal's son now. Didn't I tell you not to or I'll kill him?" he said the words with so much hate. I feared for myself but I was afraid more of what he could do to Eric. He didn't deserve to die in the hands of my psycho-admirer. I couldn't even think that Mr. Cameron was an admirer. He was more of a stalker obviously.
"What is it with you?" I shouted, angry tears falling from my eyes now. I knew I should've just distance myself to Eric but I couldn't do it. He was so special to me and I wouldn't be able to avoid the fact that he helped me move on and make it through those nightmares that my yesterday was giving to me. He was my support and I love him. But thinking that Mr. Cameron would kill him, I might think of killing myself as well for dragging him into this.
"Don't shout or I'll slit your throat with this blade," he said, producing the said blade on his pocket. Now this was scarier. Before, he only hit me but now, he had a weapon. I couldn't just hit him or even shout because he might get to me first before someone could even hear me. I hoped Emma had this intuition where she could feel that her friend was in need. "You don't want to see your boyfriend bleed to death, do you?" he added, snickering. What a maniac. He lost his mind already.
"What do you want? Why are you even doing this?" I asked, the tears were still falling.
"In time, Jessica. In time you will know why." He stared into my eyes. His was so dull and looked no soul. There was no hint of second thoughts or guilt in it. He was used to doing this. How come the school wasn't able to see that when they hired this substitute teacher? Even if they were hiring substitute, they should check his background on a tight basis as well. "For now, I want you to break up with him. Now."
"I won't!" I shouted.
"I told you not t shout!" he yelped in anger at me. He was glaring intently that it almost reached my very soul, pointing the blade to me. "You have to do it or I'll kill him before you even know it," he said in nonchalance, "can't you see, Jessica? You're mine."
I spat on his face. "I was never yours and never will be."
He slapped me, shouting, "Bitch!" Cupping my face so tightly, he said again, "Break up with your boyfriend or he'll die. It's your, Jessica." With one last horrifying stare from him, he finally got out of the room.
My knees had gone weak, making me slump down on the floor. What should I do? I knew I had to tell this already. But would Principal Hopkin believe me? I didn't have anyone who would be a witness with me.
I picked my phone in my bag, dialling Eric's number. I was sure that he was already at his mom's office. He might be looking for me, too.
"Hello," he answered on the third ring.
"H-hello?" I said, stuttering in the process. I was shaking the whole time. The look of the blade pointed out towards me scared me as hell.
"Jessica? Where are you?" he asked. I heard a scraping of chairs and his mom's voice on the background.
"Where are you going?" Principal Hopkin's voice asked.
"Outside. Going to see Jessica."
"I told you not to see her again."
