Chapter 4

"So are you going to tell Alex what happened?" Milo asked Grace, panic hidden in his tone.

"Of course not" she snapped "Don't be stupid"

"Okay so let's talk about something else" Milo said trying to change the topic quickly, "Why did you leave Italy and please don't tell me you wanted to explore the world or something"

Grace laughed at Milo's question "Ah I would say I came to America to get to know my relations, maybe for shopping and yeah that's it"

Milo looked at her "Oh I totally believe that" he said his voice dripping with sarcasm.

Grace laughed again, a deep, loud laugh that echoed around his spacious room.

"Oh I've got to go meet up with Alex now" her voice sounded disappointed with a slight hint of dread.

After she had left she was all Milo could think about. She was really perfect and their daily chats had become their dirty little secret pleasure. Nobody knew and that made it even more exhilarating. Except what was worrying Milo was that Gossip Girl might find out and then it would be all over the internet and then Alex would hate Milo. But hopefully that day would never come.

I wouldn't bet on it.

Lily looked at the blast again, feeling a wide smile spread over her face. Gossip Girl hadn't mentioned her at all when it was talking about the take down of Will and Elizabeth. She had even written that it was Issie and JJ. Lily was so lucky now everyone would still think she was an innocent 15 year old when she was really the one pulling the strings.

Henry, Elizabeth, Will and Charlie all sat in silence in Henry's limo. Will and Elizabeth had promised to be friends and only friends from now on but the group were still trying to work out Henry and Charlie's problems.

"Okay so what happened with me was I got a text from you saying we were over and so then I was like fine and you know..." Henry trailed off.

Charlie burst out laughing "Oh my god Henry but my phone is lost and has been for days! But what happened with me was you started acting all cold and you said something about being broken up so I thought you were breaking up with me"

Henry smiled sadly "So all of this was a misunderstanding. Wait, you said your phone was lost but someone definitely sent me a text. So who the hell was planning against us?"

The group looked at each other, mulling over the possibilities of who could have been trying to break up Henry and Charlie.

When Charlie got home, after the impromptu meeting in the limo, her phone was lying on the table with a note attached. It read "Some girl turned this in in Barneys. Said she found it mum xox". Whoever 'some girl' was was the reason her and Henry had broke up. She quickly sent out a message to Elizabeth, Henry and Will "In Barneys 'some girl' turned in my phone after she apparently found it. Henry, collect everyone in 10. We're having another meeting"

JJ frowned at the latest post. Lily wasn't mentioned at all as a co-conspirator. His reputation could probably be ruined and she was still innocent Lily and worst of all Issie was being blamed. Okay they had taken things a little too far but seriously Lily was the one who had started all of this. "Lily was the one who created the plan to break up Will and Elizabeth. Issie is innocent" he typed and pressed sent. A couple of minutes later his phone beeped. Gossip Girl was really quick, JJ thought.

Apparently it wasn't I and JJ who were scheming against W and E but L and JJ. JJ was seen leaving L's house the day the party but was that what they were talking about? Or is this just someone trying to protect I? I don't think I could really believe that Little Miss Perfect would be that cruel but maybe L isn't as good as she seems.
